Surprising oasis We stayed here for two nights 2 adult and 2 children/tween and stayed in a standard 2 Queen. We checked in later afternoon and actually found the person on reception quite rude - not actually saying hello or welcoming us, just staring and shrugging… I actually had to ask him what he needed from me. He was also quite abrupt with someone else who came to the desk and then rolled his eyes at us, which I found quite unprofessional. We were on a driving holiday, so had to use the car park, which was really expensive at €42 per day - we parked on the main strip in Vegas for more than half of this. The hotel is also quite a way out from main areas, so you have to drive and then pay for more parking, which was frustrating. Our room seemed very basic, with no tea or coffee making facilities. However the was a fridge and a microwave, the beds were comfortable and the shower was powerful. We managed to squeeze in a couple of hours by the pool one day and were really surprised at what a tranquil space it was, considering the location of the hotel on a busy road. The pool and surrounding area were really clean, with comfortable loungers and towels available. We didn’t eat in the hotel, so can’t comment on this, but there is a fabulous pizza restaurant around the corner on Santa Monica blv, which I’d highly recommend to eat in or take away! Checkout was a much more pleasant experience, with the lady on the desk welcoming and swift.

The cheapest feeling hotel I've ever stayed in for almost $300 I originally booked this room for my girlfriend and I and I paid a little extra for the nicer room with the "plush" Queen bed. Plans changed and the trip turned into me and my 2 young kids. I tried to update the reservation using their "contact us" link, but it led to a chat feature that no one was available to respond to, so I decided to update my reservation when we checked in in person. Initially the concierge told me they were fully booked and I was prepared to sleep with 2 kids and myself in one queen bed, no big deal, but when he finished the process he said he found a room for us with 2 beds. Great! Actually, not so much. The room was in the main hallway connecting to the lobby and we heard groups of drunk, loud people walking past our door hooping and hollering and yelling until 2:30am. The beds felt like they were cinder blocks with a couple cardboard boxes laid flat on top for "cushioning". The bedding was only one moderately thick polyester blanket which made me sweat like crazy, there were no sheets or "throw" blankets, and the air conditioner couldn't get cold enough to offset the horrifically hot blanket. As soon as I turned the AC on both of my kids had severe allergy attacks making it obvious the filter hadn't been replaced anytime recently. The shower barely had enough coverage to wash myself with, it was pretty sad. This was by far one of the worst hotel experiences of my life. I wished I had saved the $250 and drove 3 hours back home to San Diego, even if it meant I needed to caffeinate and stop to take a nap in my car at the rest stop in San Onofre. What an absolutely disappointing waste of money. Don't let them put you in room 135, or any room that starts 13X, they shouldn't be allowed to have rooms that close to the lobby.
