We actually got a room with a king bed. The room wasn't very big but it suited our needs. The hotel had a swanky hipster vibe that makes you want to stay and hang out. With their 3 resteraunt/bars and comfortable atmosphere you truly could be very happy to never leave the hotel. I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our time there.

Portland, OR: A Tapestry of Innovation and Independent Spirit

Portland, Oregon, stands as a proud beacon of the Pacific Northwest—a city shaped by its pioneering heritage and celebrated for its bold individuality. Nestled between the Columbia and Willamette Rivers, Portland was founded at the crossroads of commerce and exploration, and today it remains deeply rooted in its legacy of craftsmanship, sustainability, and civic pride. The city's tree-lined streets and historic districts, like the Pearl District and Old Town Chinatown, echo the era of 19th-century expansion while embracing a modern ethos of green urban planning and forward-thinking design.

Portland is more than just a city—it’s a cultural force. Known for its fiercely independent artisans, chefs, brewers, and makers, the city cultivates a thriving creative economy without compromising its natural surroundings. Solo Trip to Portland I did a solo trip in February to Portland and stayed here with the Homebody Special. This place was very covenient to get to via the MAX red line from the airport-- it was only a 30 minute ride to the hotel. I was upgraded to a larger room and provided with a free Whiteclaw or Carpisun upon arrival for free which I appreciated. With Homebody special, I was provided with a knitting kit, two canned white wines, and 25 dollars in room service credit. With the room service credits provided, tried tacos from the rooftop restaurant and the Milanesa Cheese tacowas my favorite!!! Room was very clean, but a little worn. I noticed a large hole in the rug under the bed. The bathroom situation was interesting, instead of a seperate shower area and toilet it was one large wet room. This didn't bother me, but someone not used to this style might be surprised. The location seems pretty central to all the touristy stuff one wants to do such as Museums and the Chinese Gardens. Its a super quick walk to catch the 15 bus and get Washington park. One thing I noticed at night, is it can get pretty loud since there are a lot of bars near by. I heard a lot of people outside on the street yelling along with tires screeching and some siren on a Saturday night. I rate a 4.5 out 5. Room was a little worn and it can get a bit rowdy at night but the location is convienient and the customer service was lovely.

Staff went above and beyond Great room and service. My girlfriend accidentally cut her hand in our room, and the staff was very accommodating to making sure she was okay and that everything got cleaned properly. Very happy with the service and experience overall
