The Las Vegas Strip: 24/7 Entertainment and Fine Dining

With an almost unlimited variety of casinos, bars, nightclubs, and live entertainment, the general consensus along the Las Vegas Strip seems to be “go big or go home.” And you can go really big here. Make a beeline for the dozens of 24-hour casinos lining the neon-lit Strip to tango with Lady Luck in high-stakes games of roulette, blackjack, and poker; or grab a front-row seat to the city’s over-the-top glitz at nightly magic, acrobatic, and musical performances. Be sure to stick around for mealtimes—casinos on the Strip are known for their fine-dining restaurants.

Even Sin City isn’t all casinos, all the time. Go shopping at the high-end boutiques found inside most hotels on the Las Vegas Strip. Head to LINQ Promenade for a shopping and dining experience, then ride atop the High Roller observation wheel. Thanks to the strip’s re-creation of the Eiffel Tower at Paris Las Vegas and the Roman Empire at Caesars Palace, you can virtually travel the globe in just a few city blocks. And you’ll find a surprising number of activities in Las Vegas for kids hidden amid the raucous nightlife.

Imperial palace energy When your review is the best part of your stay. Pardon the typos...I don't have the energy to fix them. My review of The Linq (it was nicer as Imperial Palace so that's saying a lot): If you'd had butt implants done recently, this pool is where you go to shake them. This only applies if you're over 50 and have a tribal tattoo however. I think I'll start at the end and then go back to the beginning. I had to use the flashlight on my phone to shower this morning because the bathroom light stopped working. I think I have an ear infection and partial hearing loss from the swamp cooler I slept next to. The door didn't close all the way so we had to slam it. This was a treat for all of our neighbors. The room numbers weren't marked when we got off of the elevator, so we had to ask the house keeper who did not speak English. She had to pantomime directions to our room. I feel like she missed her calling with Improv. Water is $10 here. A cocktail is $25 to start. I get that it's Vegas but it didn't even have a cherry in it. For $25 I'd like a little razzle dazzle and a smile. Self parking is $25 and about half a mile away...when it's 106 degrees out they should reduce this. We opted for valet for $40 and then tipping the valet and bellman because we were just over it after driving for over 4 hours through the desert. We arrived at 2:36. I was scheduled to perform at their comedy club and didn't want to wear disgusting clothes for another hour until the room was ready at 4pm (everywhere else in the country it's ready at 3.) If you want to go to your room before 4pm that's another $25. The pool closes at 5 by the way. 5pm in Las Vegas. Had we known that we would have been viewing strangers colons while trying to eat our nachos-we would have skipped it. The front desk lady had the personality of anyone you've ever encountered at HR, the DMV or the post office...this wasn't the job for her. I could have avoided this exchange entirely, but unfortunately they will not speak to you on the phone. It doesn't matter if you were just shot and are bleeding out in their lobby...you're still speaking to someone in India who cares even less. The nachos weren't bad after drinking $50 worth of alcohol. I didn't bother gambling because I elected to save my money for the water. All in all...I really got that vip experience.

Stayed a lot here this time was rough Staff at check in and checkout were rude and not helpful. Any question was met with sarcasm and rush. Rewards program was not accepted at multiple locations.
