The Las Vegas Strip: 24/7 Entertainment and Fine Dining

With an almost unlimited variety of casinos, bars, nightclubs, and live entertainment, the general consensus along the Las Vegas Strip seems to be “go big or go home.” And you can go really big here. Make a beeline for the dozens of 24-hour casinos lining the neon-lit Strip to tango with Lady Luck in high-stakes games of roulette, blackjack, and poker; or grab a front-row seat to the city’s over-the-top glitz at nightly magic, acrobatic, and musical performances. Be sure to stick around for mealtimes—casinos on the Strip are known for their fine-dining restaurants.

Even Sin City isn’t all casinos, all the time. Go shopping at the high-end boutiques found inside most hotels on the Las Vegas Strip. Head to LINQ Promenade for a shopping and dining experience, then ride atop the High Roller observation wheel. Thanks to the strip’s re-creation of the Eiffel Tower at Paris Las Vegas and the Roman Empire at Caesars Palace, you can virtually travel the globe in just a few city blocks. And you’ll find a surprising number of activities in Las Vegas for kids hidden amid the raucous nightlife.

The linq is very nice and new. Perfect location. Pillows could be softer. Rooms are nice and clean but not that big. Best place to stay for price.

Disappointing! I have to say my wife and I were quite disappointed with our stay here. The entire hotel is in need of a refurbishment! The floor of the elevators was worn, the in-room AC system is loud and smelled musty. Our bathroom sink would not drain. Lights didn't get bright. The shower while clean, still looked dirty. You can only get old grout so clean. No coffee maker or other amenities hotels routinely offer. . It's just dated and run down. I've been coming to Vegas my entire adult life and this is the worst hotel I have stayed at on the strip. It feels more like some of the bargain hotels off the strip and certainly not worth of being associated with Caesars.

Great location, but not worth the price Stayed at The LINQ recently and while the location is absolutely fantastic, the overall experience did not feel worth the money. The room tariff is high and on top of that the resort fees are downright obnoxious for what you actually get. The so-called resort fee added nothing of real value to the stay. There was not even a complimentary bottle of water in the room, which is shocking given the total cost per night. The property feels very basic relative to the combined room rate and fees, so the value for money is simply not there. Overall, the only real positive is the central Strip location, but even that is not enough to justify the cost and charges. Based on this experience, will not be visiting Las Vegas in the future as well as almost every hotel charges a resort fee of ~55 USD per night.

Stay Somewhere Else HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Within minutes of arriving we realized we made a mistake. There was a line of people in the wrong place to check in. After more than 10 people were in line they told everyone to move (let the first 5 people in line to go through the rope) and allowed all the people who came in later than us (10-15 more people) to enter the line ahead of those of us who were waiting. The kiosks to self check in wouldn't accept the Texas driver's license. The employee watched my mother struggle with mobility issues during this process and said there was nothing she could do. The fuse in our bathroom blew within 5 minutes of us arriving and was difficult to reset. The shower filled with water when showering and took a long time to drain after exiting the shower. I bought a 20oz Pepsi at the walk up counter on the way to the elevator which cost $8.66 only to find out that you can get the same bottle next to the ice machine for $3 so I recommend waiting to get a drink from the vending machine. We expected prices to be higher but it was ridiculous. We decided to give Vegas a try again but probably won't be back after this experience.
