The Las Vegas Strip: 24/7 Entertainment and Fine Dining

With an almost unlimited variety of casinos, bars, nightclubs, and live entertainment, the general consensus along the Las Vegas Strip seems to be “go big or go home.” And you can go really big here. Make a beeline for the dozens of 24-hour casinos lining the neon-lit Strip to tango with Lady Luck in high-stakes games of roulette, blackjack, and poker; or grab a front-row seat to the city’s over-the-top glitz at nightly magic, acrobatic, and musical performances. Be sure to stick around for mealtimes—casinos on the Strip are known for their fine-dining restaurants.

Even Sin City isn’t all casinos, all the time. Go shopping at the high-end boutiques found inside most hotels on the Las Vegas Strip. Head to LINQ Promenade for a shopping and dining experience, then ride atop the High Roller observation wheel. Thanks to the strip’s re-creation of the Eiffel Tower at Paris Las Vegas and the Roman Empire at Caesars Palace, you can virtually travel the globe in just a few city blocks. And you’ll find a surprising number of activities in Las Vegas for kids hidden amid the raucous nightlife.

The linq is very nice and new. Perfect location. Pillows could be softer. Rooms are nice and clean but not that big. Best place to stay for price.

Great Location This is our first time staying at The Linq. The room we booked was only $19 a night. But when you get here you pay the resort fee over $50 a night I got an e-mail about checking in and seeing if there were any upgrades available. I decided to pay $30 a night extra for a bit larger room with a mini fridge and larger TV. No colorful walls like pictured. Just some ugly art that I didn't understand?!? The room was clean and spacious but showed a bit of wear. When arriving we were offered free early check-in (45 minutes) if we did it at the self check-in kiosk. I'm not sure if we could have gotten a better located room if we had waited to talk to the desk clerk. Our room was on level 3 (the first floor of rooms with no view. Just a dirty roof and dark windows that were close to our ours. There's 21 floors. I would have liked to be up higher with any other kind of view. The Linq Promenade and the ferris wheel are awesome. There's lots of restaurants in the resort as well as on the Promenade. Cheaper restaurants are nearby like Denny's, White Castle, Pizza Hut etc. if you're not here for the gourmet food.

Very anrage. Disappointed in the fact there was an up charge to get a room that had a fridge. Room was clean but yhe resort fee is ridiculous for a gym, pool and internet. The outdoor experience is ok. Nice place to kill and hour or 2 maybe. For its price there are much better options.

Terrible Experience I had a terrible experience at the LINQ hotel. We were sold an upgrade to a top floor unit with blood stained sheets (we had to change ourselves) and we also experienced the ceiling start leaking in multiple rooms on the night of the show we came to Vegas to see. We were told by the electrician, “You’re on the top floor what do you expect, deal with it or change rooms.” The staff was not sympathetic or quick to help, resulting in us missing the opening of Earth Wind & Fire. Who knows when/if we could ever see them again. We had to move rooms around midnight after the show to then be woken up at 3 am to the fire alarm chirping low battery every 30 seconds. It took an HOUR for someone to come change the batteries. The ride share was flooded/unusable the night of our event with no communication from staff or help to figure out where to go. We received one night comped (the cheapest one under $100) and our upgrade fee refunded. This does not account for what we went through, and the staff lacked professionalism, urgency, and solutions. I submitted a complain to the Better Business Bureau with my request to be refunded all fees for the night my room leaked, missed the show, and was awoken to fire alarm beeping for an hour. This is extremely fair considering I had agreed to pay almost $1,000 for 3 nights. I wouldn’t recommend this as the experience left me never wanting to go back to Vegas for a while. Confirmation # was LQR3K. Photos are screenshots from the video I took after returning from the show to officially move everything out of the room.
