Beautiful and Relaxing Weekend with Friends. Just what we needed! What an impressive stay, from the various types of lodging to choose from, to the amenities that are included, to the customer service and little details that show they really want you to relax and have a great experience. We stayed in a chalet, which was absolutely amazing. The decor was beautiful and rustic. It provided everything you needed. Spacious and loaded with amenities. The views from the balconies are so beautiful. You can enjoy the lake view from your porch or just sitting in the living room looking out the two large patio door windows. The Lodge has many other types of accommodations which I am sure are just as beautiful, and the views are peaceful and relaxing from any angle on the property. Just like they did for us, the staff can help you figure out what is best for you and your group. Speaking of the Staff, everyone was so helpful and friendly, from check in, to your personal housekeeping text messages (from a real person), to getting what you need during your stay, to checking out with ease and a smile. And don't forget to take your complimentary delicious cookie and beverage right there at the registration desk -- delish! There is plenty to do on site and in the Schroon area. Eat on site or go to the local restaurants that are within walking distance from The Lodge. Visit Saratoga or Lake Placid or get some history at Ticonderoga. The Lodge also has events, entertainment and activities. Definitely a place for kids to have fun. Check out their website for the many on-site activities, types of lodging, and the special events that they have going on throughout the year. (On Instagram, too) Definitely will be making a trip back to The Lodge to experience the different seasons!

Pleasant stay at the Lodge at Schroon Lake! We stayed at the Lodge at Schroon Lake, Oct. 3-5,, 2025. The place is really an Adirondack a style Lodge, the main lodges and restaurant are done very nicely , with an old camp feel , but redone so nicely . The food at breakfast and dinner was very good! Being able to bring our dog was another reason why we chose this place. We will definitely be coming back for another stay . There was a wedding happening while we were there, and they were able to accommodate all , very easily.

A Great Adirondack Getaway Had another great stay at the Lodge. The location is spectacular, the amenities first rate and the option of having a good meal on the campus is very appealing. Highlights including kayaking on the lake and a spectacular ( and short) hike to nearby Gull Pond. Highly recommend the Lodge.
