Recommended I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights in the cheapest double queen room. The room was very clean, beautiful and well maintained. The bed was very comfortable and for me the room was perfect. The hotel staff were very helpful and efficient. The hotel is centrally located, near Union Square. As you know, there are a lot of homeless people in the Union Square area and also in the hotel area. I did not feel any danger. Police and security are around all the time. I am very satisfied and will return safely

Very sneaky with daily charges. Be warned! Overall the hotel was nice. Some great features in and around the reception and the rooms were quite nice. What really spoilt the trip was returning home to find a charge of $39 per day charged to my CC. We were not told about these at any stage, including check in and check out. In my opinion working this way is taking unsolicited money. After contacting the hotel they're not willing to resolve this which has left a bitter taste to the trip.

Central location Staff were friendly and welcoming. Great location a few blocks from union square and the historic trams. Only downside were the mattresses (too soft for my liking) but that’s a personal preference so don’t be put off.

The Marker Will Not Disappoint The Marker was the perfect place to stay for our San Francisco adventure. From the historic elegance of the lobby to the immaculate updated rooms. Our every need was anticipated and fulfilled. A special thank you to all the staff. Very welcoming.

Great stay, great location! Really comfortable and well-kept. You'll have a difficult time beating the location - convenient to everything. Staff was wonderful. It's really hard to find a hotel with two-bed rooms, so this is one to write down. It is in the middle of a dynamic city, so if you're a light sleeper, you'll want to think about packing earplugs, but I didn't need to break them out, even on Saturday night.
