Sian Kaan Master Suite 5630 Big resort, always things going on — shows, concerts and parties. I had the Sian Kaan Master Suite. Great room. Mostly friendly staff. Cleanliness-wise pretty good. There are a lot of different food options. In my opinion, the best are Careyes, Sakura and Benazuza. The ribeye steak at Careyes was magnifique. However, the duck breast in comparison (also a main course) is tiny, but good. Included were two beach clubs: Sian Kaan Club and Café del Mar Beach Club. The Sian Kaan one was cleaner and smoother than the other. The restaurants I did not like: Dos Lunas and Bahia Steak House. There is some seaweed on the beach, but there are people removing it from time to time with machines. The minibar could have been better. One other thing is that not all restaurants that are part of Sian Kaan have wine included, so you either need to pay extra per glass or buy a bottle. There are red buses (R1/R2) that take you either direction on the main street for 12 pesos or $1. Well worth it. Quick and easy — a better choice than Uber. Be aware when tipping waiters at the beach club that they might serve you “weak drinks.” Ask for a double. All in all, I had a good time. Recommended.

Amazing hotel Don’t listen to any bad reviews about this hotel! Myself and my boyfriend have just got back from 10 nights stay at the pyramid grand oasis in February. We had an absolutely incredible time here. The food here is the best all inclusive food I’ve ever had with a special mention of the cafe del mar breakfast where everyone was so friendly and the food was delicious. The Sakura restaurant where the staff were really good at recommending dishes for us to try and the gormet restaurant (cayres) where Wilfred was such an attentive waiter and food was 10/10. The range of activities available at this resort range for all different types of people, one of my highlight’s was beach volleyball Where everyone is super fun and welcoming. Our room was amazing thanks to Janet for booking it for us and booked our restaurants beforehand which was stress free for us. The staff went above and beyond for us throughout. The beachfront and pool area was always clean and beautiful. Make sure you book the pyramid as you get extra restaurant variety’s and don’t listen to any bad reviews.

10/10 stay at the Pyramid Grand Oasis This experience was incredible from start to finish. My Gf and I visited in February for 10 nights. We thought this was going to be a normal all inclusive with average food and amenities, but this was honestly the best trip of our life. The food was incredible and we are both foodies. Please visit the Caf del mar for breakfast if you can as the food there is 10/10. Careyes also was incredible and would highly recommend. The white box for lunch is fantastic and finally Sakura is amazing. Moving on to the waiters and cooks, the service we received throughout our stay was absolutely brilliant, we didn’t experience a single unpleasant staff on our stay and they all were kind and made sure we had what we needed and were very friendly. Wilfred from Careyes was attentive and funny. Our room was brilliant and a shout out to Janet who helped us before our arrival by booking our meals and sorting our room out too! Finally the activities available were brilliant, we played volley ball on the beach which we have never done before and it was one of our highlights of the holiday. Please do not believe some of the reviews posted and I can assure you this hotel is absolutely incredible. Would highly recommend booking the black wristband (the pyramid) as you get worthwhile upgrades including some of these restaurants you would not otherwise. Thank you for the stay here and this was our favourite ever holiday!!!
