Great room, reasonable price. This is not your generic cookie cutter hotel. The rooms are a quirky chic. Our room had a painted map of the Bogus Basin ski report. A large comfortable sofa accented on either side with interesting industrial styled lighting. Our room had a king size bed that was very comfortable! We both slept like babies! The only negative is that bed is very close to the window wall; it was about a foot and a half space. Little snug for me to squeeze in to get to bed. The bathroom was nice. Quirky square shallow sink with rectangular shaped bowl toilet, but the shower was great! It was a walk style large enough for both me and my wife! Had higher-end liquid body soap, shampoo and conditioner. Best part is it has a quasi rain shower head (it's a wall mount hence quasi) that I could actually stand under without stooping over (I'm 6'2". I think it will accommodate someone upto 6'4"). Most motels and a few hotels the wall mount showers are low, but not here! Almost forgot, they have robes that actually fit a big man! It was warm and comfortable, and only a little snug in my biceps but it wrapped around me! Normally the robes fit a small man with a toothpick physique. The interesting thing is the other robe fit my petite wife perfectly! The room comes with all the standard stuff that you would expect in a nice hotel: a nice kettle to boil water for instant coffee or tea, a safe, and a nice tv. It was odd that there were no disposable sanitary cups or glasses. They had ceramic cups and metal glasses which we didn't use for that very reason (they may or may not be sanitary). They provided limited on-site parking for $15 dollars a night. The stall is assigned to you which is a nice touch. But, if you have a wide high profile vehicle it could be a problem. All of the packing (except handicapped) is super narrow, and some has height limitations. My lifted Bronco, barely fit under the height check. My wife helped me park because the low hanging pipe (covered parking area) that I couldn't see backing in. Also my stall had a support pillar to watch out for as well. By the looks of the scrapes on it, some people had issues with it while parking or leaving. I had to fold in my driver's side mirror for sure, and my passenger's side mirror as well. With all that said I was glad to have an assigned parking spot that I knew would be there when we got back late from attending an awesome concert that evening. Didn't have much interaction with staff other than the two young women at the front desk when checking in and out. They were both professional, nice, helpful and efficient! Overall our stay at the Sparrow was awesome! I would stay here anytime I have an event or function in Boise that requires an overnight stay! Well done Sparrow!

Great stay with universal EV chargers We loved our stay at The Sparrow in Boise! The EV chargers worked perfectly and made it easy to fully charge our Cybertruck overnight. The chargers are universal and support both Tesla NACS and J1772 and charged at 10kW. Our room was quiet and comfortable, with thoughtful touches and friendly service that made us feel right at home.
