Disappointing Strat I've been to this hotel many times over the years I'm still wondering why I keep returning. I booked a room in the tower, but they put me in I think what they called the Vegas tower in the smallest room ever and must have been the furthest possible one from the car park. However, they did change it for me and put me into a room with a view of the atomic golf course. The room was poorly furnished in that it had no chairs, no rack for a suitcase, it also did not have a desk lamp. There were very few power outlets but there was a fridge and coffee maker but no microwave. However, the bed was comfortable, and the room was serviced daily. The whole of the 2nd floor has virtually been boarded up and the shopping centre closed down. They give nothing to guests as they used to in that guests have to pay for tower access be it at a discounted price (which increases at weekends) even if they go up the tower for the thrill rides, you pay for, and you pay a ridicules amount of money for parking your car daily. The shows are still ok and guests get a discount. It's disappointing to say the least to see this nice hotel deteriorate so much over the years in spite of a name change to The Strat from The Stratosphere the renovation of a number of rooms and the loss of a restaurant and cafes

Most despicable hotel staff! Worst “hospitality” staff ever! This maze of a hotel is a complete circus. Honestly, no wonder you’ve landed in Vegas. The housekeeping is inexistent. Even putting up giant road signs at your door won’t get your room cleaned. During my whole 5-day stay, I had to wake up every day just to chase them down the corridors for new towels instead of enjoying a cocktail by the pool. Not to mention the useless reception staff. I reached out to ask for help to deposit money, so I was told to simply use one of the ATM machines in the casino lobby. At first, I thought they only allowed one to withdraw considering they usually regurgitate, not take, money, so I gave it a go. There were no clear directions on the screen whatsoever, so the ATM withdrew the amount I intended to deposit, and for that, I was charged a processing fee. Something that the staff didn’t mention or help me resolve but merely begrudgingly denied any responsibility with utmost sarcasm.

The Main towel has better rooms!! Front desk was helpful Jason. The non upgraded rooms are extremely moldy!! And you will suffer and have breathing complications!!! Pls ask for a modern room. Love the attractions. I did the thriller ride that shoots up in the air! Pool staff and bartender James were great! The club inside the hotel that’s free to guest is a vibe! Club Remix, with a good dj on Sat & sun!! It’s worth the low rate considering all the amenities the property Offer.
