he Viv has become a sort of home-away-from-home for my family and me, having stayed there 5 times in the last year. The front desk staff are always helpful and friendly, and the wait staff at Valencia's, the onsite restaurant, are the best! The convenience of an onsite coffee shop, plus an ART bus stop right in front of the building, make staying here a no-brainer for us. Since we usually travel with kids, we haven't been able to partake of the adults-only area around the roof-top pool, but the ground-floor, family pool area is lush and welcoming, and the kids love it! There are two slight drawbacks for us: The daily parking rate is kind of high, and one side of the hotel faces the I-5 freeway, which can be a bit noisy.

Anaheim, California: Magical Play Land Outside LA

Less than 35 miles from Hollywood, Anaheim is perfectly situated for making the most of a Southern California getaway. But most visitors never make it that far, as the city's top amusement park destination has long dominated the city’s tourism scene. As the creator's original park, it has a handful of classic attractions that, though upgraded over the years, have been around since the park opened in 1955.

We all were so impressed by this hotel it’s luxurious and quiet. Stay in the park view bunk bed room and it was spacious for 4 ppl. We didn’t get a good view of the Disney park because we got the 5th floor but we’re still happy with the view. I definitely recommend staying at this hotel it’s not walking distance to Disney but they have a bus shuttle that you can pay to take you to Disneyland.

HORRIBLE AND HIDDEN CHARGES #1 The sheets and pillows are horrible, very scratchy!!! WORSE OF ALL IS THEIR CUSTOMER SERCIVE AND ALL THEIR HIDDEN CHARGES. THEY QUOTED $249 !. i PAID ALMOST $400. HE "FREE-WIFI DOESNT WORK. THEY JUST WANT TYOU TO PAY EXTRA FOR THE PREIUM. PLUS THE TV DOESNT MORK. worst of all My most egregious and disconcerting occurrence was on the day we were to check out. We left for my daughters Graduation ceremony around 6 am. I was informed by the valet stated we should hold onto it er we returned. onto my ticket if we re indeed returning , which I did. told the valets we would be returning before checkout. There ceremony was over at 10 so we made the 8 minute drive back to our hotel room #221. Only to find not only that the maid had already entered by at least, which I was informed by several staff members the maids can absolutely not enter a guest’s room until the check out! A complete invasion of privacy. Not only thats she lied twice about the room being empty and then Leo cam out of the house keeping room from digging in the trach and there it was. So, I had to did through all the other guests nasty dirty , wet trash to gather my items. By now it was noon and I had no time to arrive to my daughter’s graduation brunch to set that table runner the bud vases the balloons, NOTHING! I am so extremely disappointed in # 1 the manager for not giving it ANY EFFORT, she just sat in her office the whole time. NONE of the housekeepers were even looking for it!!! We were there for an hour. I 10:30, because When we went up to our room to collect the rest of our belongings ( mostly gifts, my daughter’s cake, a helium tank, balloons, ribbon, glass rose bus vases, roses, , ribbons, her cake topper, on the day of check out. I spent an hour trying to resolve my issues to no avail and little consideration, no apologizes. I was in the retail and customer service for over 20+ years and they would be far from employees of mine any longer. At the time of my complaint, the supervisor on duty did not come out once, look me in the eye and apologize. once #1 to help look or #2 to even apologize ONCE. Which make is 100 times woe! I am truly disgruntled Ive we can’t get resolved at your location I will be forced to pass this on to corporate as well as your legal team if I do not head back within the next 30 days... And received did not ONCE come to apologize for our inconvenience and the extra time we waited to anyone to help. In fact, no one helped, I had to ask Leo to let me into the trash rom on our floor to dig through the repulsive trash from other peoples’ room. before locating a full bag of items that were vert obviously NOT trash. A table runner, balloons, ribbons candles, glass vases etc. . I did lodge a complaint with the hotel stay and received no one single apology .I am taking the time out of my extremely busy work day to provide you the details of a very serious concern that occurred at my recent stay from May 21, 2025 through May 22, 2025. . I was supposed to arrive early to set all the decorations up. ZERO APOLOGIZES!

_‍♂️ Perfect Stay for the Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend! We stayed at The Viv Hotel Anaheim in January for the Disneyland Half Marathon, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The location is super convenient — just a short walk from the starting line, which made race day so much easier. The hotel is new, modern, and part of Marriott, so everything feels fresh and upscale. We stayed in a room with bunk beds, which was such a fun and practical setup for families. And here’s a bonus: we were able to watch the Disneyland fireworks right from our room window — absolute magic after a long day! Two pools, a rooftop restaurant with amazing views (Top of The V), and a family-friendly vibe throughout made this a fantastic stay. Whether you're in town for Disney, a race, or just a getaway, The Viv checks all the boxes! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
