Togwotee Mountain Lodge takes its name from a Native American term that can be translated as “from here you can go anywhere.” The lodge started in 1923 as a camp for travelers heading towards Grand Teton National Park (16 miles) and Yellowstone National Park (49 miles). Today it serves as a hub for mountain biking and horseback riding, with many excursions organized by the resort. And to honor its scenic surroundings, the resort makes a commitment to environmental protection by taking part in the Green Thread program.
