Hotel at a Glance: 4-Star Top-Secret Cincinnati Hotel

Less than a block from Fountain Square, this top-secret 4-star hotel offers comfort and luxury in the heart of downtown. The hotel is only a short walk from some of Cincinnati’s most popular attractions—the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center and the Contemporary Arts Center, to name a few. But once you return back to the hotel, you can embrace the 4-star luxury with a meal at the onsite seafood restaurant or an early evening, watching flicks on HBO, cozied up in a plush robe on a sumptuous bed.

  • Sip on a night-cap at the onsite bar.
  • Grab breakfast before you go: The osite cafe offers made-to-order omelets, pastries, bagels, and more.
  • Catch a game ball at a Cincinnati Reds’ game; their home stadium, Great American Ball Park, is less than a half-mile away.
  • Don’t forget to dig in: Cincinnati is known for it’s unique brand of chili; a local favorite is Camp Washington Chili, about 4 miles away.
  • Take a long walk along the river: Head to the nearby Smale Riverfront Park to meander along gardens bordering the Ohio River.

Downtown Cincinnati: Dynamic Riverside City Minutes from Historical Breweries and Victorian Architecture

Cincinnati is positioned in the southwest corner of the state near the Kentucky border and on the banks of the Ohio River. Cincinnati grew rapidly as a port city in the early 19th century, when it was crowded with steamboats and riverboats; today, it’s still possible to ride an old-fashioned riverboat to scope out the city’s skyline.

Farther downtown, Fountain Square sits in the nucleus of Cincinnati’s cultural attractions. Walk one direction and you’ll find Cincinnati Museum Center, which is housed in a historical train station and features a popular exhibit on Pompeii, the ancient Italian city where many residents were preserved in volcanic ash. It’s also worthwhile to visit one of many nearby chili parlors to try out the city’s famous recipe, a sauce-like version that typically includes seasonings such as cinnamon and cloves.

Hotel and staff were nice. Our room had a great view and was very clean. The heated pool and hot tub were nice. Hotel is in a great location, within walking distance to a lot of food, pretty centrally located also so Uber rides stay pretty cheap. After fees and taxes it ends up being a $100 and then parking is $20 a night. night for self park. I would stay again in the hotel for sure.

Felicia is the best!!!! Felicia is amazing and I love her attitude! I am happy and I think it’s amazing that the Westin has amazing people like her on staff. We had many trips across the nation and by far she was the best person to help us! I can’t wait to come back soon!

Nice room Nice hotel and in walking distance to many things. Rooms are spacious and comfortable! Haroon at the front desk was great and got us what we needed at the last minute! The only downside is the double beds are kind of small and the TV is small compared to the size of the room. Will definitely stay here again though if ever in downtown Cincinnati.

A good choice The hotel is well located. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable. Two “bad” points: the remote for the tv wouldn’t work properly! And for some reason, there was no cold water at the sink to brush our teeth. Otherwise the room was great! The view was also nice.
