Comfortable and clean - but they will rob you in parking charges We loved the Hampton Inn - it was very clean and in a great location. We stayed one night while visiting Washington DC. Because of COVID, the breakfast options were very limited and you had to heat your own food, so it was hard to find options for someone with a gluten allergy. This hotel is in the center of it all, so be ready for all night sirens and heavy traffic noises. They also charge you a mandatory $59 per night parking charge (makes sense as there is no parking around the hotel).

Great Value Nice Hotel Great location reasonably priced with very accommodating and friendly staff. Breakfast still COVID era but they did provide a nice Jimmy Dean sandwich which you can heat in the micro unlike the two boiled eggs I get at most HI’s. One caution is it’s on a main drag used by police and fire so it’s noises throughout the night with sirens. No louder than any other DC hotel and not the hotels fault, just a point. If that bothers you bring earplugs.

Great stay, magnificent service! My extended family stayed here after a visit to the National Zoo. We’d checked in online prior to arriving. I cannot say enough about the professionalism and courtesy shown to us by Mike when we arrived. He took the time to explain everything about what we could expect during our stay. He shared information about the hotel, and surrounding area, as well as policies the hotel takes to ensure their customer’s stay is a safe one. Our rooms were very clean and the hotel is in a great location with many dining options in close proximity. Valet service is great. No need to worry where to park our vehicle. This hotel is now a favorite of ours when staying in the DC area.
