Weekend Getaway Close to every thing. We went to a concert and walked the town and shopped. The hotel was very clean, breakfast was good with several options, staff was nice/helpful.

Overly priced The hotel is nice and staff is friendly but I feel it is over priced. I have stayed at much nicer hotels for this price or less. They just do not seem that competitive in the price.

Lack of customer service Had an issue with my daughter’s service dog, the desk attendant said he was a regular pet which he is not. We needed more body wash because they give you a very small bottle. The attendant was not happy to give us three more and had to write it down. It was three not ten and they are small. That was all we asked for extra so we could all shower. The breakfast was not very good or plentiful. The employees were eating and there wasn’t enough for the guests. It’s fine if that’s how they provide for employees than they should make more so there is enough. The rooms were nice and comfortable. I would stay again, but think they need to do more customer service training

Disappointed The couch bed was not made up. The maid had left the wrong size sheets, no pillowcases, and no blanket. When we called to get those things, there was no apology, and the TVs did not work.The night clerk did her best but was unsuccessful in making them work. She did apologize for the inconvenience.

Enjoyable experience! We enjoyed our two-night stay at the Van Buren! The furniture is Amish, the room was impeccably clean, and the employees were very friendly. I was especially happy that there were gluten free options at breakfast, something I rarely find in hotels.
