The sunlit Pacific Ocean sparkles between the resort and Cabo's iconic arch-shaped rock, El Arco. The best time to take in the view is at sunset when the sky fills with vibrant orange and pink hues. While the sun is at its highest in the sky, guests of this beachfront property can sip frosty margaritas on beach chairs, splash down a water slide that's shaped like a giant whale, or access the swimmable beach. Visitors can also grab refreshments at one of the multiple restaurants and bars at the resort or take a quick trip downtown. You can choose to purchase room-only or all-inclusive deals.

  • All-inclusive rates: With select options, buffet and a la carte meals, drinks, and nightly themed-dinner entertainment are included.
  • Direct beach access: From this hotel’s doors, it’s only a short trek to the beach.
  • Spacious villa suites: have fully-equipped kitchens or kitchenettes and floor-to-ceiling windows which open onto private balconies with views of the Sea of Cortez or the mountains in the distance.
  • Beachfront dining: visit the new seaside steak restaurant, savor California-Italian fusion cuisine dishes at Bella California, or snack on marinated pork tacos at the Taco Bar.
  • Take a dip in the family-friendly pool with a water slide or relax in a hot tub.
  • On the water: You'll have access to kayaks, boogie boards, paddle boards, and snorkeling gear.
  • Spa services: Relax with a couples massage or a body treatment infused with natural ingredients at the onsite, European-inspired spa.

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico: Watersports, White-Sand Beaches, and Festive Parties

Located at the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula in Mexico and 10 degrees below the Tropic of Cancer, Cabo San Lucas enjoys pleasant year-round temperatures. Just south of town, the white-sand Lover's Beach (or Playa del Amor) stretches alongside the Sea of Cortez and is frequented by sea lions, and, depending on the season, humpback whales. It's a popular spot for snorkeling, scuba diving, and swimming. Tour boats and water taxis regularly zip from Cabo to Lover's Beach and the neighboring El Arco, an arch-shaped granite rock formation that has become Cabo's unofficial symbol.

Surrounding the marina waterfront, downtown Cabo buzzes 24 hours a day with visitors sampling local tequilas and fresh, grilled seafood. Slip into one of the trendy restaurants near the marina to try chicharrones—fried pork rinds—and chiles en nogada—poblano chilis topped in a walnut cream sauce. The tourist district is also filled with nightclubs and cantinas catering to every kind of visitor, whether they're looking for conga lines or jazz tunes.

Walk right on by the timeshare people and enjoy the resort ! Pools were ample and only crowded during peak hours (there are 2 large ones , a kiddie pool , and an almost ocean front). You can also walk down to the beach for a private section with lounging chairs and umbrellas (full service with waiters) . We didn’t eat at any of the restaurants because the main town is 10 minutes away and ubers are cheap . The suite has a 2 burner kitchenette and is fully stocked with pots, pans, containers, cups, utensils and standard appliances . Front desk and housekeeping staff were very nice ! Walmart and other grocery stores are right around the corner for your everyday needs . Just be mindful quite hours start at 10pm .

Spectacular Resort with great location, beach, food and unbelievable employees. This is a beautiful resort and the staff make it even more spectacular. From the time you arrive till the time you leave you are treated like Royalty. The location could not any be better, 20 minutes by beach to the marina,15 by street, 5 by shuttle. The atmosphere is amazing with daily activities and nightly shows. The two pools are warm and inviting, but the beach was even better. It can get rough but was actually calm most days slowing us to swim everyday. No garbage or seaweed. Nice beach and sand where u can walk miles either direction. It’s so beautiful with whales breaching 500 meters in front of the resort. Fire pits keep you warm in the evenings, as do the 3 new hot tubs. We stayed in a suite which had a view of los Arches!!!! What!!! 2 nd floor Balcony, I could only imagine the views were even better up higher. Rooms also overlook the town landscape. Rooms were well stocked and cleaned daily by the ever pleasing staff. The food was comparable in price to the expensive costs of Cabo Dan Lucas but the quality is hard to beat. The tacos on the beach were unbeatable, the wood fired pizza, spectacular. The best steak I’ve ever had in Mexico was had at the Sportslounge (filet mignon). This resorts is spectacular, everything you could want with the best staff who genuinely go out of their way to help you. 3 resorts in one but we chilled at villa del palmar and we enjoyed it so much that I think we are coming back with our daughter in March.

Feels like home. _ We have visited 8 times in February since 2016. We only missed for Covid and the birth of a grandchild. While we could go other places, Villa Del Palmar feels like home. We are treated like family. From the friendly and efficient front desk service of Abigail and Coral; to the best breakfast server Roberto; to the busy but present Oscar on the pool deck; to our all time favorite server Esteban aka Nico. He’s been there from the beginning. First as our breakfast server then our pool server. He’s worked the beach the last few times we’ve been but still checks on us daily. He’s truly a gem. _.
