Overall a great resort. Food was really good. We ate at the pool bar, Latitude Steakhouse and Patron Restaurants. Rooms were clean and comfortable. View was awesome (studio room ocean view). Lazy river was so fun. I normally don't care to visit a resort more than once but I went on a girls trip and would definitely return with my husband and 2 small children. The pools were awesome.

Villa La Valencia - August 2025 Spent an amazing week at Villa La Valencia. We are 2 adults and 2 kids (9 and 4). The resort is very clean and the staff are super friendly. They have a breakfast buffet every morning, which is fast and delicious. Try to make dinner reservations early, or else you would end up eating around 830-9pm, which some people might prefer. The steakhouse was great... tried the filet and the NY Strip. The Italian restaurant was good too. The 2 other restaurants don't need reservations. We ate at Coralle 2 nights, which has outside seating and is beautiful for dinner. I think they should expand Coralle for dinner and have more tables out there. During the days we spent our time by the pools. Chairs are fairly easy to get. They have a great kids area and all the pools are kid friendly. They do have an adults only area also. Special shout out to pool waiters Marco and Moises...they were super quick and friendly. We also ordered lunch by the pool most days. The lazy river is fun as well. You can either check out floating tubes or just walk through. After doing the floating tubes a couple times, we just walked/swam through. They have a kids club that you can visit. If you want to sign up your kids for the activities, it's around $25 per kid (depending on activity). Or you can visit the kids club for free, as long as one parent stays with the kids. At nights they have plenty of activities. We did Karaoke on the beach twice. The lobby bar is also nice to visit. Shout out to Orleans, the lobby bartender, who was always great. Overall, a great experience. Will definitely visit again.

Great place Just about everything at this resort is great! The majority of the staff are friendly and accommodating and welcoming. Especially Issac at the pool, best server! Luis Patron for breakfast and Mario Diaz at Dinner perfect attention to detail and oh so happy to help… haha my breakfast table always had my drinks, sometimes before I sat down! The best hostesses Josephina (can’t wait to see pictures of the baby) and Tatiana’s breakfast …very best! However watch out for Liz…not so nice! Restaurant Managers, the 2 top are Carlos at Dinner and Jocelyn at breakfast…stay clear of Ernesto! Going back in October, will post if there are any updates. Enjoy!

Sorely lacking in the service department First the good things: the food was above average. Most of the food items we ordered were tasty and portion sizes were large. The rooms were spacious and very clean. It’s a new resort so the beds were very comfortable. We had a 2 bedroom suite with an adjoining family room, which was the perfect size for our family of 6. Now for the issues we experienced. I have traveled to Cabo countless times over the years. I have stayed at many different resorts and would rate this resort as very “mid.” It doesn’t feel luxurious at all-and by that I mean they grossly lack in service as opposed to other resorts such as Garza Blanca or Le Blanc. Check in: When we first arrived, we were assigned to a concierge who was to go over our check in process and activities. Helga, as soon as she realized we were not interested in the timeshare presentation, could barely hide her distain for us and refused to provide any additional help. She couldn’t even be bothered to point us in the right direction to do things like make dinner reservations. She said at first that her system was down and told us to come back. When I came back later, she looked right past me and directed me to someone else. She was so rude and disinterested I frankly was shocked because Cabo service is usually so much better. She is probably the worst customer service representative I have ever encountered on a Cabo resort. Dinner Reservations: make them before you leave for the resort. I had talked to our precheck in concierge while I was still at home and he told me it would be fine to make reservations once we checked in. Wrong. Everything was booked. We finally did wrangle some reservations but it shouldn’t be that difficult. Just another reason why things didn’t feel like “luxury.” Pool service: The first day we couldn’t find anyone to help us. It was like there wasn’t enough help. Staff definitely doesn’t bend over backwards to try to provide service. We tip up front in cash whenever we travel to the all inclusive because it typically does help to increase the level of service that you receive. It didn’t seem to help the first day. Although later days we did get good help from Jesus and Christian at the pool. Overall, it’s not a terrible resort. I think if you have never experienced an all inclusive, most people would enjoy it because it’s clean, well-maintained, and the food is good. However, a part of the experience is the service, and Villa La Valencia is sorely lacking in this department. We won’t be coming back to this resort and I would not recommend staying here. Go next door to Garza Blanca, it’s a level above for not much more money.
