Home away from home the location is far away from town which is one of the reasons why we loved this place. It was so peaceful and quiet. Although amenities were not complete as a resort should, it didn't take away the great experience we had. The food in their restaurant is also good. We would love to come back soon.

Run!!!! My husband and I booked this place for 5 nights, we left after a day and half - forfeiting hundreds of dollars because this place is boring and dirty! We spent a couple hours hanging out in the main infinity pool… I thought there was a strange smell coming from the water. I was also wearing a brand new $200 white swimsuit. After a while, I told my husband I felt like the water was disgusting, and my skin was feeling itchy. After getting back to our room and rinsing off in the shower, I realized my white swimsuit had a disgusting green tinge… This didn’t come out even after several washings. It gets worse! Several days after getting home from our trip I came down with severe abdominal cramping. I eventually ended up in an emergency room and was found to have E. coli poisoning… The kind found from dirty swimming pools! Not only did we lose money on our booking, destroyed a new swimsuit, hundreds and hundreds of dollars in medical bills and I’m still sick! Not to mention this place is super far from town even if you didn’t go in the pool there’s nothing else to do. This place is dangerous! Stay away.

Isolated and peaceful but bad service at restaurant The installations and apartments are great. It has a good gym. Nice pools. Clean. And good ok beach access. But the food is not good. And the service for food takes forever. To order fries, as a snack, itt ok almost 2 hours. I also was food poisoned blwhen I ordered thermos fish if the day. I spend a whole day sick. No doctors close by, no Farmacia’s close by. The service is not good. But the installations and please is peaceful and clean.

This is not a hotel. It’s a retirement condominium community resort. This resort is not a hotel. It’s condominiums with hotel like amenities. on average most people were 60-70yrs here. Music night, entertainment etc. all felt very Canadian American. Mexican vacation essentials are not found here. This resort is also very far away from town 20-30min. There is no Uber and limited taxis available. Almost no taxi wants to come to the resort. Front desk, Ana Sofía arranges taxi pick up(600-700pesos). About a third of the trip is all dirt roads and dirt crossings. Hotel is in the middle of nowhere on the beach. The hotel room himself are beautiful. Our condo had a broken air conditioner in the living room that was never fixed. There is no access to food aside from a very tiny store with limited groceries and resort restaurant. Resort food is OK nothing to brag about. Service is slow. I suspect they’re under staffed. My suggestion, if you stay at this resort, Rent-A-Car at the airport, go grocery shopping ahead of time, and know you’ll be driving into town for entertainment. Ana Sofía worked at the front desk. She was fabulous. She was like a ray of sunshine. Any issue I had she addressed. She was everywhere all day. I don’t know how she rests or when she rests. I appreciate her so much. She helped with my many issues I ran across in my stay. This woman went above and beyond anything any individual would do. It came across that she loved her job. My issues became her issues. She took everything I said seriously. And always got back to me with some sort of revolution..

Book direct with Vivo Vivo is a great resort with wonderful pools, beaches, activities and location. The condos are owned by people who feel the need to scrutinize others. We booked privately via an owner who didn’t have a contract for us. We were told we would have no cleaning services and that was fine but what we were not told is that they were not a part of the rental pool so you have no access to anyone to clean or to do any maintenance. We rented for 6 weeks and there was only a broom left for cleaning. No cleaning supplies, no garbage bags, no soap, nothing. The closest town is a 500 peso cab ride. When we requested cleaning the resort had none and neither did the owners. In the mean time the dishwasher, ice machine, dryer and main air conditioning unit did not work… for the entire 6 weeks. We actually hired a family friend to clean for us on week two but she had to go get her own cleaning supplies as there were none in the condo for her to use as well as no dryer to dry sheets and towels. We made due and didn’t complain as we should have but we are on vacation. On our last day we reminded the owner that there was no dryer and since we were washing our cloths and hanging them to dry we would not be able to do that with the towels and sheets we used that day. She said her cleaners would be in at noon to clean. We stripped the beds, put the towels in a pile by the laundry , swept the floors, did the dishes by hand and put them away and washed all countertops. We did leave the condiments and food in the fridge as we have done so before in other places we stayed with no concern. Two days later we get an email from the owner saying that her cleaner told her the condo was so dirty she had to pay her more. So the owner decides to cancel our reservation for January 2025 which we already paid for next year! When I asked what was so dirty she has no idea, but her cleaner said so and so she said she would return our money so we could find another unit. This is the same cleaner who was not able clean for us for 6 weeks. So buyer be ware! Book your stay directly with Vivo so you get the service and facilities as they want people to be satisfied with their properties. Those who chose not to rent via the rental pool have no access to cleaning or maintenance and really don’t care . If I am able to I will attach the pictures of our “dirty condo” and you be the judge! With a “twisted mind” I will never recommend renting direct from this owner who was to cheap to provide cleaning services or supplies or an understanding of cleaning expectations.
