Hotel at a Glance: Whitefish Lodge & Suites
A moose head hangs over a flagstone fireplace and an antler chandelier glows warmly inside the lobby at Whitefish Lodge & Suites. These decorative touches pay homage to the hotel’s beautiful natural setting near the Whitefish Chain of Lakes. The surrounding trees display brilliant red and gold leaves in autumn. After the sun sets, lodgers can gather around a blazing campfire to warm up from the fall chill and roast s’mores.
- Media mention: Twin Cities Live said the lodge “can really put you in the vacation mood.”
- Cabin-inspired suites: Beds are nestled behind natural log walls, and TVs are set up in a wall-mounted canoe.
- Swim year-round in the indoor pool, and lounge in the roomy hot tub. There’s another pool especially for kids.
- Explore the wilderness: Rent a bike or a pair of snowshoes from the lodge to hike nearby Paul Bunyan Trail and other scenic paths.
