It was absolutely amazing ! From the arcade to the inside pool area! The front desk was very helpful with describing where places were. I would definitely be planning another trip.

Great stay The indoor water park was great. It was nice to be able to do something indoors as we got a lot of rain the first two days of our stay so we couldn’t do any of the outdoor activities that we had planned. Kids loved the lazy river and tube rides! Great family friendly and the room we had was huge!

Our Winter 2026 Experience My wife and I consider ourselves Wilderness Pros. We have gone at least once a year for the past 8 years, as our daughter loves the Wave Pool and we love to lounge around watching the wave pool. Some years we do a summer visit so we can have the outside (onsite) park as well. We have seen almost every upgrade/version of this resort since its conception. Here are our tips. Winter 2026: We booked by calling the number on website (on Monday prior to our two night weekend stay) River Lodge = Indoor Water Park Lazy River Stone Hill Lodge = Up on the Hill (shuttle) Requested River Lodge 1st floor room w/ kitchen…close to Indoor Water Park / ADA room as we qualify. Early check in (2:00pm) Quoted and paid deposit on this quoted price. Check in at the river lodge ALWAYS takes a very long time. Just be prepared. Leave everyone in the car and send 1 person in. No matter the time, you will wait. Fact. We checked in at noon on Friday, knowing we wouldn’t get our room till 2. However, you CAN use the waterpark (starting at noon) the day you arrive. Pack a small waterpark bag and use the changing room bathroom (over by the toddler area). New for 2026 for us…they tried to charge us more than the quoted price. My wife corrected them, and had to barter with them to get the price down to closer quoted price. They said resort fees hadn’t been added, and the booking sites always mess it up. Remember we called the resort. Price has never changed until this year. Got an ADA room near the center of the 1st floor, right next to check in. Seemed like it would be super noisy…nope. Just a normal noise of the hallway. We always…always get a room with a kitchen. This is a Murphy bed / sofa bed only. The full kitchens are wonderful and allow you to cook everything. (Publix literally two mins. away) They text when the rooms are ready. Our room was ready at 12:30. Very nice. Wrist bands provide access to rooms, allow charges to room (not this time for some reason) and now allow access into the indoor water park. New for us, the automatic door gates that you swipe to enter. I thought this would be a slow process to get in, it wasn’t. However annoying. And you enter/exit through the game area. So be prepared for that. This is one change they made that i absolutely hate. The old entrance was preferred. Everything was open, except the rooftop elements which are always closed in January (open March). Here are some key takeaways: It’s an indoor water park for kids. There will be lots of kids running around, excited, rude and having a good time. This is NOT a place for couples looking to get away. Drinks and Food are WAY overpriced. They do offer Celiac approved gluten free options. Just ask. Remember they have kitchens with refrigerators. You can cook. They offer refillable drink cups. Buy a few and bring in your own drinks. Go early and get chairs /table, or just get one. Even on the busiest of days, you can find one. There is also a second level. And as always, this place can get expensive. Even with the cooking, taking our own drinks, we always walk away wondering where our money went. And as always, we will be back

Fun 4 Everyone Self contained with activities for everyone. The children and adults loved the water offerings. It’s located close enough to Gatlinburg to visit if you desire. Lots of fun
