The staff were most helpful. I had grabbed the wrong charger when I packed for my headphones and the front desk gave me a loaner charger. The staff went above and beyond what was necessary, all to ensure you enjoyed your stay. The food at breakfast was great with surprise hits that everyone enjoyed. Guests chatted amongst themselves briefly asking if people had tried the flute glass yogurt and fruit option. The sauna barrels were hit along with the hot tub. I didn't see anyone plunge into the pool but it was an option. Most people traveled from the hot tub to the sauna barrels and back. The guest robes were long and thick, so when walking outside to the hot tub you didn't feel the cold too much but were ready to get into the hot tub. It was a great and relaxing get away. Plus saw lots of deer from the breakfast dining room window. I used the gym four times and it had everything you could need. Generally I was the only person in the gym but it is set up well that if there were two or three more people in the gym you would all be able to get in your workout. However, lots of areas to walk and enjoy the outdoors.

Great experience. Although there was a bit of an issue with them running out of multiple breakfast items since the hotel was sold out, the staff were very helpful. The property itself is very nice and there's lots to do even in a winterstorm like the one during family day weekend. Would come back again.

DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY! We have been going to this hotel at least twice a summer with friends for years and years. We were happy when there was new ownership, thinking the place would improve. Last summer, it was noticeably improved with some rooms renovated. Our visit this year was the worst we have ever experienced and aren actively looking for somewhere else to go! Our third floor corner rooms had not been renovated. We got into our room at 4pm but our guests didn’t get in until 5pm and the cleaners were in the middle of cleaning their room. The following day, we returned to our room at 4pm and our room hadn’t been touched. I tried to call to reception repeatedly and finally had to walk downstairs to speak to the front desk to ask why neither of the two rooms had been cleaned. She said she’d take care of it but nothing happened and I tried again to call reception but no answer…had to walk downstairs to ask where the cleaners were. Receptionist told me there’s a policy not to answer the phone when they are serving clients at the desk. By this time it was after 5pm and the cleaners had all gone for the day. She said she’d take care would send up a maintenance man. He finally arrived with a bag of towels. I again told the receptionist that we needed the room CLEANED. The maintenance man came and sprayed clean the bathroom surfaces and changed the sheets. We were finally able to shower and changed for dinner after 5:30pm for a 6:00pm drinks and dinner. Our guests never got their room cleaned or fresh towels. There were no apologies and we paid $900 per night for each room. Shocking. The included breakfast was only mediocre and the food only lukewarm, ditto for the coffee. Don’t waste your money, this place is deteriorating and it seems like the new owners have stopped general maintenance and are having trouble getting enough quality staff.

Great Stay Went the Sunday of the Valentine's Day weekend. Enjoyed the great amenities like the hot tub and barrel saunas! Also loved our dinner at the hotel restaurant. Set menu but the desserts were as good as they looked. Also really liked that the resort was pet friendly. We will definitely go back.
