The parking was a great issue. They have paid parking for 19$ per day. There is a garage in front that's for $8-9. But every time u go in and out, you have to pay. So beware! I was nt happy with the purchase

Buffalo, New York: Chicken-Wing Capital with Rich Railroad History

Buffalo is the second-largest city in New York, but it’s second to none when it comes to its namesake buffalo wings. Though the pioneering restaurant’s identity is subject to debate, there’s no doubt about Buffalo’s status as the capital of wingdom. To sample the city’s most famous export, head to the Anchor Bar or Duff’s Famous Wings.

Buffalo was once one of the biggest railroad hubs in the country and has several museums dedicated to celebrating those glory days. Visit the Iron Island Museum to get a feel for how the railroad shaped the city. History buffs will also want to check out the Buffalo and Erie County Historical Society, also known as the Buffalo History Museum. Housed in a neoclassical building along Scajaquada Creek, it has exhibits on the War of 1812, the Erie Canal, and the Pan-American Exposition held on the museum grounds in 1901.

Amazing staff, clean and comfy We travel a lot. We will definitely return to this hotel! And you should too. Let me tell you why: There is something special and intangible about the staff here. I’ve never seen such an excellent team when it comes to customer service. The management here has somehow done the impossible and made this regular hotel into a must-stay experience! I’m not terribly picky - but if it’s not really clean, if it smells bad or if the staff aren’t friendly - I won’t be back. All of these boxes were checked for me. It’s clean, beds are really comfy, and it smells good. But the staff - that’s something I did not expect at all! I literally have never experienced a staff as helpful and friendly as at this Wyndham in Buffalo. It was actually like being greeted by family. (And I do Customer Service for a living - so I’m not always so easy to please in this area.). These people are happy, helpful and it’s not just one - but everyone I met of the hotel staff were amazing! This hotel will be a return stop when we come back to Buffalo- and it’s even a reasonable price!! Bonus on top of surprise bonus!!

Great hotel! My hubby and I have stayed at this hotel two times while he had surgery at Buffalo General. I love the valet and trust them with my vehicle.Only issue I had was when I called to make a reservation the front desk said they were busy and couldn't make it and the reservation line said they couldn't bring up the hospital discount. I went ahead and booked online instead of calling the hotel back only because I was really nervous I wouldn't get a room. When I checked in Sunday I asked for the hospital rate and was told they upgraded me so I couldn't get it. Then in turn said I could down grade (switch rooms)for the next night and get it. Hubby was having surgery so that was not feasible. The upgrade was a beautiful room, but I definitely did not need it as I only used it to sleep. Being this hotel is used a lot for the hospitals maybe a phone call to ask if it's wanted. There was a Bills game and the hotel was fully booked so I do understand, I was just hoping to lessen the expense of having surgery out of my hometown.

Sister trip This hotel exceeded our expectations. The shuttle service was not only convenient but pleasant every time. Clean rooms, comfortable beds. Staff was extra helpful. Close to Shea's Buffalo and Keybank center. Would recommend and would stay again.
