They had a restraunt on site and they had a shuttle and a list of restraunts that they would shuttle you to. The shuttle was free and the drivers were cordial and polite. The rooms were clean, the king size bed was very comfortable. The staff was great and the food in the restraunt was very good.

Downtown Pittsburgh: History and Culture in the Golden Triangle

Downtown Pittsburgh sits at the confluence of the Monongahela and Allegheny Rivers. Known as the Golden Triangle, this wedge of waterfront real estate is where the city’s cultural, financial, and historic districts converge. Take a stroll through the area or navigate the more than 20 miles of bike trails to discover art galleries, historic buildings, and shiny skyscrapers home to corporate powerhouses such as United States Steel and PNC bank.

For a quick survey of the Steel City’s nearly 250-year history, you can go on a walking tour from the Pittsburgh History & Landmarks Foundation. Expert guides will fill you in on Pittsburgh’s architecture and will reenact Gen. Washington’s famous victory break dance at forts constructed during the American Revolution.

A short cab ride brings you to the city’s Oakland neighborhood, where you’ll find art and history museums as well as the Phipps Conservatory. This elaborate, Victorian-style greenhouse showcases 17 botanical gardens, both in the steel-and-glass structure and on the grounds surrounding it.

The bed was very comfortable, the room was clean quiet and the staff was kind and helpful. The only issue I wasn't happy with was that aside from paying for my room which was paid on full when I made the reservation. They told me I had to leave an additional 50.00 deposit for any incidentals, and that I wouldnt receive my credit for 5 days. Thats CRAZY!

Great room, bad breakfast Room was great! Comfy bed, hot shower with wonderful pressure. Everything was nice & clean. Only bad thing was the breakfast was terrible! Only old bagels & cereal. They must do a decent breakfast on weekdays. The coffee & “hot “ water were cold.

Hotel in remodel phase. Poor handicap accessibility. I stayed for 3 days in mid June 2024. They were remodeling the 1st and 2nd floor, so only rooms on floors 3 and 4 were available. I use a mobility scooter due to a paralyzed leg. They put my "handicap accessible room" at the end of a very long hall on the 4th floor, far away from the elevator. Electrical service in the room was shoddy. Outlets in outdated furniture could not keep my plugs engaged. This is critical when you rely on an electric scooter and need to keep it charged. No coffee machine in the breakfast room. Coffee was in the foyer. No microwave in the room. Bathtub did not have an adequate sized shower chair (good thing that I brought my own). Staff tried to be helpful, but they were working against the odds.
