Q:

The deal says that boat transfers are included on Sat and Weds. Does this mean both ways (to and from the resort)? Also, does this include transportation from the airport to the whereever the boat picks up? Thanks!

A:

YES!!! the round trip boat transfers are included on Saturdays and on Wednesdays only, you may arrive any other day of the week via private charter flight. The ground transfers from the airport to the boat transfer terminal are also included. If arrival to Belize is after 3:00PM then there is a private air transfer fee of $299.00 for a 3-seater plane to our from Blackbird Caye.

Hi Said, you need to fly in to BZE by no later than 2:30pm. The ground transfers are included in the price as well! Our company driver comes to get the guests at the airport and takes them to meet the actual boat transfer to the island of Blackbird. On the return book your flight after 12:30PM. The boat leaves for the city between 8am and 8:30. You will be at the airport around 11:30 am. Thanks

What is the difference between the standard and superior cabins?

A:

HI Jacquelyn, the standards are the cabanas that have the thatched roof and have no sitting area and the superior has the sitting area and regular roof. Both are oceanfront and both have screened in porches overlooking the Caribbean Sea with hammocks and chairs, both lovely!

Hi Linda, we sure allow kids! Since the deal is basically buy 2 for the price of 1, the twins will go for half off so buy one voucher for them and one voucher for the 13 year old so a total of 3 vouchers.

Hello Irina yes the 3 meals are included in the price, breakfast and lunch is buffet style and dinner is served to the guests at the table with a choice of 2 entrees. There is one restaurant, one bar, 18 oceanfront cabanas, the pool, kayaks, 2 daily snorkel trips and 3 daily dive trips to the reefs. Yes Wed to Wed is 7 nights same things as Sat to Sat it's also considered 7 nights. Thanks!

Are the sand fleas severe in January & February. In reviews I read there was concern that food ran out at meals, is that a problem?

Hello Elsa,sand flies are typical at the beaches we fog the area which helps. We have set times for the meals, and advise guests to be at the dining room at the set times. The times are set so that the boats can leave on time for the snorkel, dive and kayak trips. Since we are not a restaurant the food cannot be left sitting around and once the guests leave for their trips the staff starts preparing food for lunch. We suggest you may bring dry snacks, fruit roll ups, almonds and things like that to munch on if needed. The portions are normal portions.
