My sisters and I decided to return to Nepal after having been there more than 30 years ago in childhood. Initially only two of us planned to go and then my other sister decided to join. Tara at Bohemian Tours was able to get us all together on the same trip and even rooming together in a triple in a couple of the locations. The actual trek was beautiful. We spent about 4 days going up and down, usually a lot of up and then a lot of down, with occasional "Nepali flat" in between. It was exactly what I was looking for: a complete disconnect from my California life and a chance to physically exert myself in a truly impressive landscape. I will admit, by the 5th day, when we were bringing our trip to a close, my legs had little left to give. Another way of putting this was that the length of trip was just right! All accommodation (guesthouses and ecohotels) was pre-planned and most of the places we stayed at were decent. I could have had more time in Kathmandu, though we didn't leave any extra time after the trip to explore, unfortunately. I would recommend this to people looking for a short trekking experience who are in mildly decent shape and have a good attitude! We loved it!
