About Candlelight Inn
One of the deadliest battles of the Anglo-American War of 1812 was fought on Lundy’s Lane. But you might not know it from the look of the street today: aside from a few monuments, most of the old battlefield is now covered with boutiques and plazas. The formerly tumultuous land is now a happy shopper’s paradise, complete with an outlet mall housing more than 40 top designer shops. Located right on Lundy’s Lane—half a block from the outlets—Candlelight Inn makes a good home base for shoppers and historians alike. The hotel features free onsite parking, so guests can leave their cars behind in a secure lot and be free to explore the historic neighborhood. It’s just a short drive from here to the downtown core of Niagara Falls.
After a day spent shopping or putting on the nearby mini-golf courses, relax in the hotel’s seasonal outdoor swimming pool or an in-suite jacuzzi (available in some rooms). All upper-level rooms have balconies with views of the manicured lawns and gardens. For lunch and dinner, head to the onsite restaurant, Mick and Angelo’s, which specializes in Italian fare and was once spotlighted on an episode of Man v. Food.
