We stayed two nights at this lovely, historic hotel. The decor is beautifully paneled carved wood with intricately scalloped, ornate ceilings. The food and dining experience is fine dining at its best and the service throughout is perfection. The staff aim to please. Your wish is their command, within reason. E.g.: We wanted to sit on the patio on the back side of the hotel and they sent a waitress out to take our orders. I got up early one morning and came down at 7, before breakfast (served 8-10), hoping to find decaf, which they don't have in the room. The host who was setting up for the breakfast buffet made some decaf just for me! How accommodating! Will definitely return!
