It was not stated on the groupon that the buyer of the groupon would be required to attend a 3 hour, that is how long our's lasted, time share sales pitch. It did put a damper on our stay! The hotel staff was polite and professtional!

Management needs to put some money into small things which make a big difference Lots of potential, but lots of complaints from other guests and timeshare owners. Management need to put some money into fixing the place up and buying more locks for the room safe (you need to wait until someone who has one checks out), more pool towels (often out), refrigerators, key readers that work. A timeshare owner had no water. Required to pay 13k peso deposit at check in (applied to purchases and balance refunded at check out). Watch out for convenance store-prices not marked & I ended up paying 0ver US$15 for a pint of ice cream. Supposedly, floors 7 and 12 are remodeled. Our room showed wear and tear, but housekeeping kept it clean. Every room has an ocean view and we saw whales every day. Restaurant food was surprisingly good.

Disappointed We booked 2 1/2 weeks here, left after 3 nights. The staff was all very friendly and the food was pretty decent. The location on the water is great, and the fireworks we were able to see on New Years Eve were amazing. We were on the 8th floor in the South bldg and the traffic noise was pretty bad, you could hear the trucks and motorcycles all day and more importantly all night. We would get whiffs of sewage out on our balcony. Couches were old and dirty, barely anything in the kitchen, but the room was a nice size and no problem with hot water. Only 2 towels were given, no hand towel, no wash clothes, no kitchen towel. The gym had 1 working treadmill, 1 broken one, 1 recumbent bike, 1 spin cycle, free weights, and one weight machine. It was super small, and no towels in there either. Pool towels were scarce, had to wait for them to be dried twice, and there were no available pool chairs anyway. We did go down to the beach all 3 days, on the first day I was in the water and thought it smelled off, but i just ignored it. The 2nd day my husband had to go get the beach chairs himself because they were short handed, and that's when we discovered the source of the smell. They stack the pool chairs and tables on the south end of the beach, and it was all muddy down there with what smelled like sewage coming out of the wall, and it was leaking right into the water where everyone was swimming. I did not go back into the water, and we checked out the next day, and cancelled our remaining 2 weeks there. I've been travelling to Mexico for 20+ years, and would be fine with almost all the things I've listed on here, but NOT the sewage draining right into that small inlet where all the hotel guests swim. That was the deal breaker. It's unfortunate, because their location on the water has amazing views.

Will not return The staff is great at this hotel. Our housekeeper, Juanita was professional and super accommodating. Waiter Neto from the restaurant was funny and his team of waiters were always rushing to serve all who were at the pool, beach and restaurant. All of the men who greet you at the entrance are knowledgeable and welcoming. Special shout out to Juan who helped us with locating a key to the safe. Sad to say we will not be returning to this property after 4 years. When we were making our reservations for next year, we were informed that they will be an all inclusive hotel from April onward. We believed it was a good value these past four years. However, going forward, the property needs serious updating. The food is average and we would hate to be confined to that restaurant for all our meals. Drinks are watered down at the bar and housekeeping leaves their caddy in the hall or in the stairwell. Paying double for all-inclusive-nope!
