Great for work or play This may be the friendliest front desk have encounter. Location is to die for. Walking distance to everything including restaurants, Lenox Square Mall, and Marta.

Be warned Hotel says it’s updated - bathroom was subpar. Beds and linen were fine. AC Worked well. I was right by the elevator and room was still quiet. I usually book courtyards to know they would have a restaurant onsite, unfortunately I did not find out till I arrived that they do not on Sunday’s. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Courtyard Buckhead, the Rooms Deliver—but the Front Desk Doesn’t The Courtyard Marriott in Atlanta’s Buckhead district offers the expected basics of the brand—functional rooms, a convenient location, and adequate amenities. Unfortunately, during my recent one-night stay, the service experience left much to be desired. Check-in Experience Arriving early, I requested an early check-in. The receptionist, without inquiring about my name or membership status, dismissed the request outright with a curt “no rooms available.” This would not have been unusual if consistent—but only minutes later, I observed the same associate checking in another guest. When I returned to the desk and provided my name, a room miraculously became available. For a Gold member, the indifference was notable, and the lack of courtesy was striking. Room The room itself was acceptable: clean, standard in layout, and typical of the Courtyard line. There was nothing remarkable to criticize or praise. Checkout A second service misstep occurred at checkout. I asked for incidentals to be billed separately from room charges, a routine request for business travelers. The associate first produced a combined bill, then asked me to reinsert my card—resulting in duplicate charges for the same $12 in incidentals, all in order to generate a separate receipt. Though the amount was minor, the error reflects poorly on training and professionalism, particularly given the rushed circumstances of travelers departing for flights. Verdict Courtyard Marriott Atlanta Buckhead fulfills the bare essentials of a stay but falters where service should matter most: consistency, attentiveness, and respect for loyalty members. Management would do well to address staff training, as the property’s shortcomings lie not in its rooms but at its front desk.

Great hotel but the valet parking is charging twice. We stayed for 1 night with an Atlanta Track Club block. The front desk person told us we had a special parking rate. In spite of so many of us there for the event the valet attendant asked for a non existent code and said he was unaware of any special pricing. I get they were overwhelmed with all the people arriving so I didn’t even question the 4+ hours it took to get my car parked. I asked about self park but the directions were so vague and complicated that my friend and I took the easier valet option. The next day at checkout they held my car hostage until I replied to the text message with a credit card number they assured me would not be used. The itemized bill from my stay clearly shows my parking fee paid at the rate they quoted. The parking company also charged my card the full daily rate. The hotel states the parking is a separate company but in spite of the close relationship I got a different answer from every desk person and every valet I spoke with about how I would be charged, how much and by whom. I have disputed the fraudulent charges with my credit card company and will stay at a different hotel in the future. It’s unfortunate they allow this type of scam. The hotel was clean, quiet and did a fabulous job of making the runners feel welcome. I would only recommend if you don’t have a car, self park or like to be charged double for valet.
