Survived the Tub, Stayed for Eric I was here for a work trip and I don’t think I’ve ever been this opinionated about a hotel — and I travel a lot. Buckle up. Location: Meh. It’s walkable to food, which kept me alive, but there’s not much else around. Parking? A chaotic mystery. But thankfully, they have valet (stay tuned for the real MVPs of this place). Housekeeping: Twice. They knocked twice while my Do Not Disturb sign was clearly on the door like a flashing neon billboard. Either they were testing my patience or the sign was in invisible ink. Either way — why even bother giving me the sign? Front Desk: I heard “Sorry, I haven’t worked here long” so many times, I started finishing the sentence for them. No one seemed to know anything. It was like a team-building exercise in confusion. Can someone please hire a manager… or at least someone with a clue? The Room: Spotless, credit where it’s due. But the furniture looked like it had just finished filming an action movie. And the tub? Wobbly, slanted, and an accidental amusement park ride. I almost needed a seatbelt just to take a shower. I was one dizzy shampoo away from checking out early. Valet: Now this? This was a plot twist. I usually hate valet. Like, passionately. But these guys? Legends. Chill, kind, hilarious — the whole vibe was immaculate. One standout was Eric — he opened my door like I was royalty, walked me to my room like a bodyguard, and even walked me to Publix late at night when I felt uneasy. Who does that?! These guys deserve medals. Or a raise. Or a pizza party. Something. The valet team single-handedly saved this stay. They’re the only reason I’d even think about coming back. So, to all of you — this 5-star review is yours. You earned it. Hard carry.

Great Location, Good Stay Nice location and a great staff. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Valet service was great, and fast. They give you the option of tipping by text once your car arrives or is picked up which is very convenient. The building and rooms are clean. The bar / bistro area is not well stocked, so dont expect a lot there.

Courtyard Buckhead Atlanta As a grandmother of 8, who lives 7 hours away from Atlanta and my grandchildren, I always choose Buckhead Atlanta Courtyard Marriott and have stayed here at least 8 visits. The hotel is conveniently located and after retiring 31 years as an educator, i certainly appreciate courtesy, efficiency and cordiality. I especially appreciate Tony from Valet for his professional demeanor, fast-paced service and friendliness. He is so essential and welcoming to every guest of the hotel. He is a true asset to the hotel. I appreciate him and the hotel very much.

No Thank You This was by far the worst experience I have had with the Marriott Brand which I use almost exclusively. When I entered my room my sink literally didn't have a drain pipe attached so when I went to wash my hands the water just splashed onto the floor. I had no large towels - only hand towels. No shampoo. When I went to take a shower the fixture flew off the wall and water just spurted out of a hole in the wall. The front desk staff was nice and maintenance did fix both problems but I was never offered a room change or a credit. I'm not sure how house keeping could clean the bathroom if the sink literally didn't have pipes??

Typical modern, chain hotel among several others First thing to know about most of the modern, chain hotels in the Buckhead area is that the Marta subway system is the way to get to them. The Red Line, for example, will take you right from Hartsfield-Jackson Airport to the Buckhead Station. We had no trouble using this system to get to Buckhead, and from there to Peachtree Center, where most of Atlanta’s attractions are within walking distance. That there is a plethora of hotels near this station means that you can’t just walk out of this station and expect to easily find this, or any other hotel. It was thus a blessing that Marta has supplied clear & helpful signs in the station to help anyone wanting to know which direction to walk from the station. It’s a pretty easy, five-minute walk from there to the Courtyard. Take the south exit of the Buckhead Station, and go up the first stairs (or take the elevator) you come to. Turn right as you exit the station, and do NOT cross over the Peachtree Road. If you pass South City Kitchen on your right, you're going in the correct direction. The first intersection with a traffic light you come to will be Tower Place Drive, and Courtyard is just block from here. Because the hotel hosting the conference we were attending was just a five minute walk away from the Courtyard, we made the (fairly easy) decision to stay here & walk to the conference hotel. If you’re attending a conference in the Buckhead area, you should compare prices for all hotels in the area, and compare them to the conference hotel. Our room had full bath, phone, fridge, AC, iron & board, hair dryer, coffee maker, and TV with 40 channels. It was clean & well-maintained, but construction on the floor below us during the day was somewhat distracting. Free amenities include wifi (quite good), indoor pool, exercise room, and computers with printers in the lobby. There is cost for parking at the hotel. There are restaurants within the hotel, and several within walking distance nearby. A small market selling a few munchies (at hotel prices) is available 24/7. Staff was friendly & efficient. If you have business in the Buckhead area, or if you don’t mind riding Marta to downtown Atlanta, this place can be a good choice.
