Family-Friendly Hotel With Onsite Spa and Japanese Restaurant

Delta Toronto East has both the kids and the adults covered. For the youngins, there's a 110-foot-long waterslide curving from the ceiling of an indoor water play area, where you can splash into a large pool in the 20,000-square-foot atrium, oblivious to the season outside. Meanwhile, grownups can slip into the multiple saunas or whirlpool to soak away stress, or head to the onsite Saachi Spa, a serene setting for a hot-stone massage, spa manicure, or mud detox bath.

Delta Toronto East is located in the Scarborough neighborhood. That puts it within a 20-minute drive of Toronto’s best attractions, including the Evergreen Brick Works, the Distillery District, and CN Tower, the Western Hemisphere’s tallest freestanding structure.

For dinner, there’s an onsite Japanese restaurant, Sagano, where you can use the included dining credit to sample spicy tuna rolls and seared scallops alongside a panoramic view of the city.

Toronto, Ontario: Harborfront City with High-End Shopping and World-Class Museums

Toronto is known as a wonderful walking city: set on the shores of Lake Ontario, the city has scenic hiking and walking trails wind along the harborfront. A northerly stroll through the Fashion District and Chinatown leads to Kensington Market, a bohemian village rife with vintage shops and organic-food markets. For haute couture and fine dining, there’s the Bloor-Yorkville neighborhood, which has colorful flower gardens and modern-art installations.

Toronto is also home to some of Canada’s best museums, starting with the rare Québécois religious statuary and the restored Georgian house at The Art Gallery of Toronto. It hosts the largest African and Oceanic art collection in the country. In addition, it curates Italian baroque sculptures, Pablo Picasso paintings, and historical Canadian art, including contemporary Inuit masterpieces. And science geeks will want to make a stop at the Ontario Science Centre, where they can watch an IMAX film, delve into space at the planetarium, or touch a plasma ball at the Science Arcade.

It was a pleasure to stay at this location. It's very convenient to many attractions and away from the busier downtown core. This hotel offers great amenities and has something to for every age group. In offering your guests "packages" is a wonderful travel deal. I will hope to repeat a stay, within the year.
