Q:

Can you give an idea of what the weather will be like in April? I want to travel with my wife and are US Alien residents residing in the USA with green cards, do we need to get visa? if so how much will the total cost be to obtain those visas thru your company? Are the visas guaranteed after we book? Kindly get back to be this trip seems interesting.

Doodnauth N.  asked on  Dec 13, 2012

A:

The weather in April is like in NYC. 60-65F, maybe rainy, but generally it is already warm. No problem for US residents to obtain visa. However the fee depends on the passport you are holding. Citizens of some countries do not need Russian visa. EU citizens fee is lower than US or Canada, so to answer your question I would need to know what your citizenship is.

Q:

This looks like an awesome deal & I've always wanted to visit Russia but I am not an experienced international traveler, don't know the language & have safety concerns. Can you tell me how the tours are operated (contracted out etc) & are there any translation services included?

carollee h.  asked on  Dec 11, 2012

A:

The tour is operated by our company. All group members are "recruited" thru our company. We have been in business over 20 years and have been running this tour for the last 12 years. It is absolutely safe and secure, you will stay in centrally located hotels, travel with a group of people and taken care of by your guides and tour coordinators. Please call me if you would like to discuss it further. Thanks.

Q:

Is the price for one person or two?

Sarah O.  asked on  Dec 11, 2012

A:

The price covers one person, making this option ideal for two friends who want to travel and room together. You purchase your Groupons individually (using different credit cards if you desire) but share accommodations for the duration of the trip. For packages including flights, transportation, tours, and other add-ons, you’ll do all of that together, too.
