Q:

Hi There! My husband and I are interested in taking the Ecuador tour in September. We are currently in the midst of recieving our passports, we will have them in about two weeks. When do we need to have the copys of our passports sent to you by to verify our flights if we are taking the september tour? We would hate to purchase this, because september is the only time we can go and than not be able to go because we dont have our passports at the moment.

Elizabeth B.  asked on  Feb 2, 2013

A:

We need copies of your passports within 24 hours of you making the reservation because we have to confirm the airline reservation immediately. You can send us a copy of the old passports until the renewed ones arrive. When you get the new ones you will need to send a copy of those.

You can make the reservation now, send us a copy of the current passport and when the new passport comes send us a copy of that.

Q:

we both want to take the April 9 departure however we want to depart and return to Jacksonville, FL. Also we would like to depart from Guayaquil Ecuador instead of Quito. One wants to depart Guayaquil Ecuador April 25 and the other Guayaquil Ecuador on May 1. How much more would the airfare be for each of us?

Lloyd W.  asked on  Feb 1, 2013

A:

Yes, you can definitely fly from another city, although the tour price will vary. When you make your reservation with us, just let us know your most convenient departure city. We'll check what's available and let you know the cost. If you wish to extend your stay, we will gladly arrange a late return from the final point of the tour, Quito. The cost is $100 per person plus any difference in airfare. When you make your reservation let us know the date you wish to come back, and our air department will check the availability and let you know what the additional cost will be. Be sure to let us know if we can help with additional hotel or touring arrangements during your extended stay.

Q:

If I purchase this guided tour do I need to participate in all of the toes/activities? If I wanted to go off for a couple of days to explore on my own but still sleep in the hotel provided, is this possible? Thanks.

Giselle S.  asked on  Feb 1, 2013

A:

If you choose to do activities on your own, you would need to let your guide know so that they are aware you won't be with the group. There would be no refund for unused services and yes you would still be able to stay at the hotel.

Q:

We are a family of four. Two adults, two kids aged 10 and 13. Would the rate be the same for each of us or is there a reduced rate if we are all staying in one room? Thank you

Hope R.  asked on  Jan 31, 2013

A:

The rate would be the same for each of you, you would need to get two rooms because we do not have rooms that will accommodate 4 passengers.

Q:

2 questions. Not sure how this works does the trip need to be paid off in total whenbooked and do we have the option to stay a few additinal days and return on another day.. My father is currently living in Ecquador and i would like to stay about 4 days and visit

jacqueline a.  asked on  Jan 31, 2013

A:

When you purchase the Groupon voucher, that is the full cost of the option you choose. You then call our office to redeem the voucher. If you want to stay a few extra days you will let us know at the time of reservation. Our air department will then check the availability for you and let you know what the additional cost is so that you can determine if you want to move forward with the additional days.
