Is this a group tour that departs/returns together? Am confused as a single traveller how this will be coordinated. But i do want to accompany others on this trip.

A:

This is a group tour with set flights. We take a maximum of 25 passengers per departure. As a single traveler you would be joined by the other members the tour.

Q:

Do I have to purchase 2 Groupons? I am a single person and only need 1. Also, is this valid for the month of July/August?

bindu b.  asked on  Jan 30, 2013

A:

No, you do not need to purchase 2 Groupons. As a single traveler, you would purchase 1 Groupon and when you call us to redeem it, you will pay the single supplement of $399. Due to the extreme heat, and taking into consideration that it is the rainy season, we do not offer this program from June through the end of August.

Q:

can the airfare be upgraded to business or first? if yes. how much extra

martin g.  asked on  Jan 29, 2013

A:

Business and First class airfare is based on current, live airfare availability. Historically, the additional cost to upgrade is between $3,000 and $5,200 per person. Let us know what departure date you are interested in, and we'll request the upgraded pricing for you.

Q:

Is it possible to meet the group in India, as we live in Europe at the present time? If so, does this change the price of the tour if we arrange our own transportation?

Gail W.  asked on  Jan 29, 2013

A:

Unfortunately, we are not able to offer the Groupon special without the international airfare.

Q:

Hi, Do you have other departure cities, like San Francisco? If there's one, how much would it cost? And how much extra for one person booking only?

Evangeline T.  asked on  Jan 29, 2013

A:

Unfortunately, we can only offer this program from New York or Chicago. You will need to get yourself to one of these departure cities. The supplement for solo travelers is $399.

Q:

Can 2 people travel on the same trip but with one flying from New York and the other from Chicago? And how long does it take to obtain a visa? Is India one of those 3 months on average countries?

William B.  asked on  Jan 29, 2013

A:

Yes, you would need to purchase two Groupons based on the corresponding options. The flight from Chicago does not meet with the flight from JFK so you would fly to and from India separately. Travisa Outsourcing's average processing time is 7-9 business days from receipt of the visa application materials.

Q:

If you pay the single supplement of $399, does this guarantee that you will always be in a room by yourself? I wouldn't want to be paired with a stranger in a hotel room.

Julie G.  asked on  Jan 29, 2013

A:

The single supplement of $399 is the supplement required for passengers who are traveling alone. We do not arrange room sharing, so you will never have to room with someone else.

Daria P.  asked on  Jan 29, 2013

Q:

I live in Los Angeles and plan to go there with my wife on 9/19 , I need to know what time is the flight from JFK , and what time they arrive at JFK , so I can ask for vacation from my company and arrange the flight from LAX to JFK

Tony L.  asked on  Jan 29, 2013

A:

The flights are scheduled to depart JFK at 3:10pm, and return to JFK at 7:25am. We have two September departures, September 3 returning on September 11, and September 17 returning on September 25; both are following the same flight schedule.
