Known as the Cradle of Western Civilization, Athens has a wealth of historic and intellectual attractions. Though many of the most popular attractions are in ruins, such as the Acropolis, there’s still a modern feel to many of the local museums and galleries. After 4 nights in Athens, you’ll spend 1 night each in the ancient cities of Olympia and Delphi on this 8-day tour of Greece’s archaeological wonders.

  • Day 1: Board your overnight flight to Greece.
  • Day 2: Arrive in Athens.
  • Day 3: Visit the Acropolis Museum and take a walking tour of the city.
  • Day 4: Take a scenic coastal drive, stopping at the Acropolis of Mycenae and the Treasury of Atreus on the way to Olympia.
  • Day 5: Tour Olympia’s archaeological site, including the Temple of Zeus, before traveling to Delphi.
  • Day 6: Tour the excavated UNESCO World Heritage Site of ancient Delphi before returning to Athens.
  • Day 7: Spend a free day in Athens.
  • Day 8: Fly back to the United States.

Trip is planned for 11/12/23. It appears to be an amazing value. I have purchased 2 other travel Groupons one for Ireland and one for China, both trips were awesome. Highly recommend.
