Submerse yourself in a vacation to not only explore different lands, but to feel as though you’ve stepped into another era. With Gate 1 Travel, guests view Roman, Gothic, and Renissane-era structures and sties sprinkled throughout Croatia and Slovenia.
- Day 1: Fly to Croatia.
- Day 2: Arrive in Dubrovnik and enjoy the day at leisure before a welcome dinner.
- Day 3: Take a tour of Dubrovnik, including Old Town, the Rector’s Palace, and the Dominican Monastery and Franciscan Monastery.
- Day 4: Depart Dubrovnik and drive along the Adriatic coast to the town of Split. Take a tour and stop by the Palace of Diocletian. Also walk along the waterfront promenade.
- Day 5: Travel north to Togir and see the 13th century Venetian Cathedral of St. Lovro.
- Day 6: Pass the Bay of Kvarner and head for the seaside town of Opatija. Then, get ready to visit the Postojna Caves in Slovenia.
