Days 1–5: Jerusalem

On day 3, you’ll take a half-day walking tour of Jerusalem’s Old City, encompassing Jewish, Armenian, Christian, and Muslim architectural and cultural districts.

  • See King David’s tomb at Mount Zion, which was also the site of Christ’s Last Supper.
  • The Israel Museum houses the Dead Sea Scrolls and other ancient manuscripts.
  • Eat like a local at the Mahane Yehuda Market’s stalls or in the kosher restaurants of the city’s German Colony.

Days 6–7: Beit She’an & Tiberias

Next, the tour heads north to the city of Beit She’an in the Jordan River Valley.

  • See ancient ruins of theaters, bathhouses, and stone columns at the Beit She’an archaeological site.
  • Explore the abandoned fishing village of Capernaum along the Sea of Galilee, where Jesus preached to his disciples. Highlights include the remnants of a 3rd- or 4th-century synagogue.
  • Soak in natural hot springs in Tiberias. These pools are just one sign of the surrounding geothermal activity. Another is that many of the town’s older structures are made from black volcanic rock.

Days 8–9: Nazareth, Haifa, and Tel Aviv

Then you’ll make your way west towards the Mediterranean, stopping along the way in Nazareth.

  • Church of the Annunciation: a basilica on the spot where, according to tradition, the angel Gabriel told Mary that she would give birth to Jesus
  • Stock up on herbs and spices at el-Babour in Nazareth’s Old City.
  • Baha’i Shrine and Gardens: 19 garden terraces encircling a shrine made from Italian marble; located in Haifa

Since I can't rate this trip do to it being 5 months away and Covid-19 just mucking about, I thought u would review a prior trip. The tale begins as any other tale, one of mystery and suspense. The year was 2017 and I flew to Rome with a woman who was not my wife. We had a great time,l. It rained almost every day but I was able to touch history and breath in the city that is Rome. Hope to return.

This was absolutely AMAZING! I was a little skeptical about taking a trip through groupon but the company and this trip in particular have some good reviews so I just went with it and I am so happy that I did. I recommend this to everyone who is considering going because you will not regret it! I also put up a video on YouTube if you want to look a little more into it!

This is our second time purchasing a Gate1 Travel trip on GroupOn. At $799 a person for 7 days (airfare, hotel and breakfast) it was a steal! We chose to fly out of Newark, and spent a weekend in NYC. Hotel was standard European with a great breakfast. For the dates we wanted to travel (Spring Break) this price was excellent!

This trip by far was AMAZING! ! I was reluctant about a groupon trip but started looking at the hotels on TripAdvisor. The staff at Gate 1 were phenomenal from booking my trip arrangements, communication about trip. The only thing different I would do is book transfer transportation with Gate 1, taxis cost more to book on your own. The price/value for the trip was unreal! Cant wait to book again

I took the trip with my mom and it was wonderful. However, there were a few things that happened worthy of mentioning. I only can only write 1. We decided to fly to Budapest instead of take the bus so we had an extra day in the city. We wanted to put our bags on the bus though, (saving us $150USD) and Gate1 said no, even though we paid for the bus ride. Unexplainable, just someone on a power trip.
