Hi , my name is Ginny. my friend and I are ready to book in a couple of days. First time to Italy. However, we are both afraid to drive around italy. Is there other transportation, like a bus or train? also, is it expensive?

Virginia, there are methods of transportation, but not easy. you could opt not to pick up the car. there would be not difference in the cost

The listing says the airfare is to/from JFK, but the specifics say it is from JFK to Italy. Could you clarify? Do we get to JFK on our own and the groupon includes the flight overseas?

If traveling with a family of 6 (4 children ages 16, 13 , 9 & 9), we buy groupons for each person. How many hotel rooms do we get? once we have completed the 8 days groupon, can we stay an additional week with our own planning, etc?

Susanne You would be entitled to three rooms each person would require a groupon you can make arrangements to extend your trip at the time of booking

Just recieved my travel confirmation and was surprised to see an additional insurance supplement of approx. $20 per day paid to car rental company!!! This is the approx. cost of a car rental per day!! This was NOT mentioned when I was booking and asking Q's for 45 minutes eariler today. Victoria R.

Do we have to drive ourselves from Rome to Tuscany to Venice? If so how easy is it to get from point a to point b? What about parking if we want to drive into Rome/Vatican City and into Florence? Or would there be other types of transportation (train?) available?
