Q:

I have a gift card for Great Wolf lodge, I would like to get this groupon deal and use my gift card to purchase the deal.

Gayle J.  asked on  Jan 3, 2013

A:

Unfortunately, since the voucher is purchased through Groupon and they do not accept Great Wolf Lodge gift cards, then you cannot use the gift cards to purchase the Groupon.

Q:

I purchased the deal, but when I go to greatwolf.com to reserve my suite, it still asks me to pay another $219. I'm not paying twice. What's the deal?

Gina C.  asked on  Jan 3, 2013

A:

You will need a credit card to hold the room but it will not be charged because you will be showing your Groupon at check in. There will be an additional tax and fee you will need to pay at check in.

Q:

How do I redeem this Groupon online? Ive made the reservation following the Groupon rules by putting in my groupon number but it is still saying there is a balance of $254.38 due. Will my credit card be charged this amount? I've already purchased the $219 Groupon, why isn't it saying the correct balance of $35.38?

Tiffany L.  asked on  Jan 3, 2013

A:

Your credit card will not be charged. The credit card is to hold the room. It is saying $254.38 because the $219 is not redeemed until you turn in the Groupon at check in. You will be responsible for the $35.38 at check in time (this covers the tax of the Groupon and the resort fee).

I'm sorry to hear this. We are experiencing heightened traffic as we are running Groupon deals for 10 of our 11 lodges. I would recommend staying on the phone line so you can speak with someone.

Can I add one night? If so, how much would it cost and does it include water park pass?

Mary D.  asked on  Jan 3, 2013

You can, but the price will not be the reduced Groupon rate. You can check our regular room rates online at www.greatwolf.com. This will include waterpark passes for the standard occupancy for that suite style.
