You’ll see the Taj Mahal, royal bengal tigers, and the pink buildings of Jaipur during this 15-day tour of India from Indus Travels. An English-speaking guide will accompany you on every adventure and escort you through New Delhi, Agra, Ranthambore, Jaipur, Cochin, Thekkady, and Alleppey. You’ll have daily sightseeing excursions, free time to explore, and optional activities to choose from. This tour includes:

Days 1–3: Arrival and New Delhi

  • Getting started: After an overnight flight, you’ll land in New Delhi, India’s capital city, early in the morning of day three. You’ll be met by a tour representative and whisked away to your luxurious hotel.
  • Day 3: Highlights of a sightseeing tour include Qutab Minar, the tallest brick minaret in the world, before departing for Agra where you will explore Agra Fort, built in the Mughal Dynasty in the 16th and 17th centuries.

Days 3–5: Agra and Ranthambore

  • Day 4: You’ll visit the Taj Mahal, majestic in the dawn. The tour then moves on to Ranthambore.
  • Day 5 finds you in the tiger reserve of Ranthambore National Park, where you’ll take morning game drives in search of the shy royal bengal tiger.

Days 6 and 7: Jaipur

Days 8 and 9: Jaipur, Cochin, and Alleppey

You’ll see international influences around town, including Christian and Jewish houses of worship, before heading to Alleppey, which sits on a network of canals popular for leisure cruising. The surrounding farmland is dotted with coconut and rice plantations.

Days 9 and 10: Cochin

  • Day 9: After breakfast on day 9, you’ll head to Cochin in the southwest. It was once a key port in the Indian spice trade, which accounts for the international influences you’ll see around town, including Christian and Jewish houses of worship.
