You’ll see royal bengal tigers, the pink buildings of Jaipur, and the Taj Mahal during this 8-day tour of India’s treasures. Days 1–2: Flight and New Delhi

After an overnight flight, you’ll land in New Delhi, India’s capital city, where you’ll be met by a tour representative and whisked away to your luxurious hotel.

Day 3: New Delhi

You’ll visit the 137-foot-high India Gate, the president’s palace, and Qutab Minar, the tallest brick minaret in the world, before heading to Agra in the early evening.

Days 4–5: Agra and Ranthambore

• Day 4: You’ll visit the Taj Mahal, majestic in the peaceful dawn. This UNESCO World Heritage site was built by Emperor Shah Jahan for his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal in the 17th century. Next, you’ll explore Agra Fort, built in the Mughal Dynasty in the 16th and 17th centuries, before continuing to Ranthambore, where you’ll stop at Fatehpur Sikri, the abandoned capital of the Mughal Empire between 1570 and 1586.
• Day 5 finds you in the tiger reserve of Ranthambore National Park, where you’ll take an early-morning game drive in search of the shy royal bengal tiger.
• Optional excursion (day 5): afternoon safari in the park ($65/person)

Days 6–8: Jaipur and Return Flight

• Day 6: Jaipur, state capital of Rajasthan, is called the “Pink City” for its pink-colored buildings. Spend your day at one of the oldest and busiest of markets in the walled city, Johori Bazaar, where spices, bangles, and saris are on display and cows walk the twisting streets.
• Optional excursions (day 6): Bollywood movie night at the palatial Raj Mandir Cinema ($25/person), a Jaipur-by-night tour ($45/person), or dinner at 1135 AD restaurant ($75/person)
• Day 7: The group takes an elephant ride to the hilltop Amber Fort, constructed in the 16th century.
• Optional excursion (day 7): city tour that visits Hawa Mahal palace, City Palace, and Jantar Mantar observatory ($45/person)

If Indus Travels is unable to book your trip for the available date and before the book-by date, Groupon will refund your purchase.

5. Does my child need a Groupon, and can they stay in my room? Children must be at least 5 years old to travel on this tour. Each traveler must purchase a Groupon Voucher. Triple rooms are not available.
