Q:

I bought a Groupon for the Inn of Chicago for 3 nights in March. I called the Inn to confirm the reservation. - The reservation desk essentially made a fresh reservation for me at the Standard rate ($119 / night). I was told to show my Groupon at Check In to get the Groupon rate. - I was also told to call about 24 hours before check in time to confirm that my Groupon will be accepted. Are both of those usual practice?

Shan A.  asked on  Jan 19, 2013

A:

Please forward your Groupon email confirmation to Reservations@innofchicago.com. This is not standard procedure and we will be happy to fix your reservation at the Groupon rate you reserved-We just need your Groupon confirmation number.

Please check the calendar for availability of all room types over the dates you are looking to book. Your availability issue may be due to the room type you are trying to reserve or our overall allotment of rooms may be sold out for one of your dates.
