Day 1: Fly to Japan

Fly to Japan Board your international flight bound for Japan from your selected gateway. For a smoother experience, upgrades with additional cost to non-stop flights may be available.

Day 2 Arrive in Tokyo

Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel by free hotel bus service (Narita) or Airport Limousine Bus (own expense).

Day 3: Tokyo (Free Day / Optional Tour)

Spend the day exploring Tokyo at your leisure or join the optional Tokyo Discovery Tour.

Optional Program: Tokyo Discovery Tour – Visit the lively Tsukiji Market, stroll through Odaiba Seaside Park with views of Tokyo Tower and Rainbow Bridge, see the Asakusa Kannon Temple (Sensoji) and shop along Nakamise Street, then experience Shinjuku’s vibrant Kabukicho district.

Day 4: Tokyo – Hakone – Shizuoka/Mt. Fuji Area

Depart by coach for Hakone. Ride the Komagatake Ropeway for sweeping views, then cruise on Lake Ashi with Mt. Fuji in the distance. Continue to Shizuoka or the Mt. Fuji area.

Day 5: Shizuoka/Mt. Fuji Area – Kyoto

Travel to Kyoto, Japan’s cultural capital, home to countless shrines, temples, and UNESCO-listed sites.

Optional Program: Kyoto Discovery Tour – Visit the Golden Pavilion (Kinkakuji) and Fushimi Inari Shrine, famed for its thousands of vermilion torii gates.

Day 6: Kyoto

Free day to explore at your own pace or join an optional full-day tour to Nara and Osaka.

Intertrips’ itinerary and services provided were fantastic. Of course, the price was nice. Connections were made with all local guides and their excellent guidance. The hotel accommodations and arrangements were another excellent.

Easy to book with the travel agency. All hotels were like 4 stars. This tour is FULLY packed/pre-scheduled with lots to see. Be prepared to wake up by 7am and walk around a lot. It's great for people who wants to explore everything/as much as possible. There were also quite a lot of add-on that you can pay extra for. Beware that there are A LOT of upselling at places you go to/tours. Some are worth it but a lot probably aren't. Our tour Beijing tour guide, Jing, was amazing! She's very considerate, patient, knowledgeable, and great storyteller. Our Suzhou tour guide, Grace, was nice but seemed to got overwhelmed from time to time.
