Q:

Hello- when speaking to a rep at the hotel she said to make sure I was using Groupon #5 as that was the only choice available. Is this also Groupon #5? If not what is she taking about? Your site does not say this groupon is sold out. I am confused. I really would like to get this deal. Fuzzy D

Kathy D.  asked on  Feb 7, 2013

A:

There is only 4 options for this groupon. Depending on the dates the option might be sold out.

A:

Then why do the booking people say that there is an option 5? Believe me, I am fully aware there are only 4 options but I've had this same issue and now I'm nervous to book it. The first lady told me that I can't book because option 4 doesn't exist but option 5 does. So then I asked about option 5 on groupon and you guys told me "There are only 4 options for this groupon". The second lady told me they had plenty of those rooms still available and did not mention option 5. The third lady told me that only option 5 was available, but when I read her the description of option 4 she said it would work. I told them all the same block of dates. There is clearly something wrong in the system that needs to be addressed.

Q:

Hello, So I called the 1800 number to enquire whether the Ocean View concierge option 4 for the dates I am looking for are available. The person says it is option 5 and that 4 is not available. There is something wrong with the options the booking line has listed. Then I asked how much it would be to stack an extra night since we are planning 5 nights and I was told $512 specifically. Now that I had all the information, I indicated to the lady that I will hangup, purchase the groupon and call back. I literally called back in 5 mins or even less, and someone new answered. We go all the way to booking and my credit card information is taken, where I ask her to confirm how much the extra night will be and I was told that she can't do that since she has to back out to check and then start all over again. So I trust the first answer and finish booking. Now she goes to book my extra night and the price is $681. I try to explain and I get an answer saying that the first time I called it may have gone to the hotel directly, with details saying, after 4 it is transferred over to general booking. Both calls I made were before 4 pm Jamaica time. Now I am just unhappy how this is planning out. Can I just get the rate what was committed to me? This is not very good customer service. Do you really think I can make up a random number say $512? Please help!
