More Questions and Answers

Q:

Can the nights not be consecutive? And if I need to cancel and reschedule, does the 10 days policy come into effect?

ed t.  asked on  Dec 29, 2012

A:

You can purchase multiple deals and combine them for consecutive nights, or you can purchase multiple deals and use them at different times. You could also purchase just one deal and stay just one night. The only thing that can not be combined is the Dinner Voucher. You will receive one per night with the deal. Cancellations must be made 10 days prior to check in unless you have a true emergency. In case of an emergency, please contact Brian Cottman at 215-565-0146. You can reschedule your visit within the 10 day period we just ask that you give us the maximum amount of time to try and resell your room to another guest.

Q:

Are children allowed (10 and 12 years old) and if so could we choose the room with 2 queen beds?

Paula S.  asked on  Dec 29, 2012

A:

We do allow children, however the deal is for two people. Additional guests are $15 extra per person. If you purchase this Groupon, you can use that toward a double queen room. Please contact the hotel directly at 215-362-7500 to check availability for certain dates.

Q:

Under this Groupon deal, does the actual room reserved for you depend on whether it is a weekday or a weekend and/or, during what month you plan to stay? In other words, is there a time when I would possibly get a "better" room than at other times, when perhaps there is a lower occupancy and demand for rooms? All hotels/inns seem to have a slower time or off season time. If so, when would those times be that I might get "more for my money", so to speak. I am available to go pretty much anytime during the time limit of this Groupon deal. Also, do any of the rooms under this deal (without having to upgrade) have a gas fireplace and a jacuzzi and sitting area?

Joan M.  asked on  Dec 23, 2012

A:

We run the Groupon deal during our slow season. Availability is tough to generalize. We do still have a few weddings booked for weekends and that seems to be the most popular time for Groupon purchasers. I would say that during the week you probably have a better chance at being able to choose any of the deluxe queen rooms you want. To answer your last question, you are mixing the upgraded room amenities with the Deluxe Queen Room. All of our Deluxe Queen Rooms and upgrades offer a two person spa tub; that is why we chose to feature that particular room type. Some of those rooms have an electric fireplace (non-heat emitting). The Queen Suite has a sitting area with sofa and electric fireplace as well. Some of our King Suites have gas fireplaces. If you did not want to purchase an upgrade, there is a Standard Queen with a gas fireplace, but the Standard Rooms do not have the two person spa tub.

Q:

hi, is it possible to get a room with 2 beds? bed size doesn't matter. thanks anna

anna a.  asked on  Dec 23, 2012

A:

We do have Double Queen Rooms on our property and you can use your Groupon voucher toward one of those rooms. The Double Queen Rooms though do not have the spa tubs.

Q:

When you view "the deal", it says, "Must book by 2/15/13 or promotional value expires. Must complete travel by 3/31/13" . But, you can only BUY this deal from Groupon for another 12 days or so (today is 12/20). Does that mean that you have to BUY it within the next 12 days but that you have until 2/15/13 to book the deal as described, before it expires? Also, does a "Deluxe Queen Room" mean it is not any of the Queen suites? Deal says it's up to a $215 value. I don't see any room listed at a price of $215.

Joan M.  asked on  Dec 20, 2012

A:

You must purchase the Groupon within the next 12 days from Groupon. You must make your reservation before February 15th. And your stay must occur before March 31st which is the expiration. The $215 value is the rate for a deluxe queen plus the $20 dinner credit. The Groupon is good toward a Queen Deluxe Room; Suites are an optional upgrade to be handled directly with the Inn where available. Hope this helps!

Q:

Do you have "long" beds? I am shopping for a gift and the Mr. is over 6'3"...

Rebecca H.  asked on  Dec 18, 2012

A:

Sorry for the inconvenience. This deal is for a regular sized queen bed.

Amy S.  from  Self  replied on  Dec 19, 2012

A:

While the Groupon offer is valid for a Queen Size bed, there are a few Standard King Rooms (without spa tubs or fireplaces) that you could use your Groupon toward. You could also upgrade your Groupon to be used toward a King Suite.

Q:

How do I go about upgrading to an Allman suite? Do I purchase first and then upgrade through the hotel or is there a way to do that at time of purchase?

Thomas B.  asked on  Dec 20, 2012

A:

You have to purchase the Groupon first, then call the front desk to book a reservation for the Allman Suite. The Allman Suite is an option upgrade being handled with the hotel directly.
