Q:

We love traveling with our dog and think it's great that you have pet friendly options. Our dog LOVES to run on the beach. Are dogs allowed on the beaches there?

Jennifer  asked on  Jan 3, 2013

A:

Dogs are allowed on the beaches here at Kalaloch and in the surrounding areas. It is a park service rule that dogs are to be leashed at all times, which may cut back on the running however! There are some who say that as long as your dog is very well behaved and will come back when called, without bothering any wildlife, that they can be off the leash. Though, it could result in a fine from park service. We hope to see you soon!

Q:

Can the two night groupn be used for a Saturday Sunday stay?

Talia J.  asked on  Dec 30, 2012

A:

That should not be a problem, as long as when you make the reservation you explain to the our Central Reservations that you have bought the two night weekend Groupon, but prefer to apply it to a Saturday and Sunday night stay.

Q:

We are interested in staying the night there to celebrate the New Year. Can we shoot fireworks on the beach?

Jeanette S.  asked on  Dec 30, 2012

A:

There are no fireworks allowed in the National Park, so unfortunately this would not be allowed. However, we would love to have you come and join us to ring in the new year! You are allowed to have camp fires on the beach and it is going to be a low and late tide tonight, with a big moon!

Q:

If we want to stay in a cabin for two nights, Sun and Mon, do I purchase two separate groupons, one after the other, that I can combine for two nights, when I make the reservations? Sharon M

Sharon M.  asked on  Dec 27, 2012

Hello, you can definitely purchase 2 of the $79 groupons and use it for a two nights stay, back to back. Just bring a copy of each groupon at check in and you will be all set! We will see you soon!

Q:

We are interested in coming for a Thursday night and Friday night stay. What's the best way to do this using Groupons?

Dan E.  asked on  Dec 26, 2012

A:

There is no easy way to go about this with Groupons. I think that the only way to pair these two nights would be to purchase a groupon for Thursday night along with a two night groupn for both Friday and Saturday night to stay the whole weekend. The weekend nights must be purchased as a package. You could also just purchase your Thursday night groupon and pay for the second night directly through our reservation line or front office, dependent on the price we would be able to give you! Feel free to contact us directly @ 866-966-9969!! We look forward to seeing you!

HaiShan W.  asked on  Dec 26, 2012

A:

There are nearby hot springs!

Benjamin V.  from  Groupon  replied on  Dec 26, 2012

A:

The hot springs are a bit of a drive however, and the resort that is located there is closed seasonally during the winter season.

Q:

Hi there, I have a couple questions: -my husband and I have a 12 year old son- what is the cost to add him per night? -how do I go about making a reservation (can I do it through your website or do I have to call the resort?) -it appears on your website that you still have availability for a cabin for New Year's eve and the night before- can you confirm that? Thanks so much! We've been to Kalaloch before and love it there :) Kyla

Kyla B.  asked on  Dec 21, 2012

A:

To add an additional person will be $15.00 per night. Please refer to the "Fine Print & Detail" section of the deal page for the promotion details. After purchasing your Groupon Voucher, please contact our Reservations Department to book you room, 866-662-9969. They will be able to tell you what is currently available at that time.

Teri S.  from  Merchant  replied on  Dec 21, 2012

A:

I already bought a coupon, but I'm confused by your answer above. Fine print on Groupon's site for this deal says "Adding occupants above standard: $15 per night for each additional guest 18 or older; no charge for children 17 or younger." I thought that meant that there would be no charge for the 12 year old referenced above. We also have a child who will be with us. Thanks in advance for clarification.
