We had so much fun at this farm adventure, it was a laid back, friendly and super fun place to take two small children, the manager Pitt was so fun and my children couldn't get enough of hanging out with him. It was exactly what we needed to unwind.

Mt. Rainier and Mineral, Washington: Fisherman’s Haven in the Rugged Washington Wilderness

Like many of the settlements throughout the area, the small town of Mineral began its life as a mining community. And though the mines never flourished, the town hung on. Today, it welcomes guests in search of outdoor activities of Mt. Rainier and Gifford Pinchot National Forest. Fishing is a particularly popular pastime here; huge rainbow trout abound in Mineral Lake, and salmon populate the surrounding creeks. Guests can make their way to Mt. Rainier—situated about 10 miles from Mt. Rainier Ranch—and enjoy a variety of outdoor activities including hiking, mountain climbing, camping, and wildlife watching.

Everything is so nice! The grounds are peaceful, the rooms are lovely, the bedding is as cloud-like as it can get, the animals (pigs, horses, dogs, a llama, and a rabbit!) are sweet, the staff are super helpful and always nearby in case you need anything. My boyfriend and I got to know Snow (staff) during our stay and he made sure we had a great time. He walked us around the fields to meet the animals and give the horses some treats, showed us the newly planted greenhouse, and went out of his way to make a connection with us. We are so gracious and will be visiting again ASAP. <3 <3 <3

The way the staff were with my daughter was fantastic--it was a real farm experience, so my 9 year old daughter got to ride on the back of a truck, she got to get right in with the animals, help build a fence, ate amores at night by a bonfire built by Pitt the ranch hand/manager. Really fun and special time for my daughter.

I really would have given this 1 star had it not been for the gentleman that was so amazing with our son and walked us to feed the goats, horses and pigs holding a great conversation along they way. I don't know if the good experiences there are on the weekends but if you stay during the week you will not get any of items offered in the bio. We planned for two nights but didn't stay the 2nd.
