How often is the complimentary shuttle and what kind of places does it go? What is the distance to D.C. and what is the cost/ timing/frequency of the shuttle? If I don't have a car would public transport be adequate?

Complimentary shuttle service will be offered every 30 minutes to the National Mall (about 10 miles away) and other attractions within the Vienna vicinity including area offices, metrorail system, and the Tysons Corner shopping malls. Public transportation is readily available.

Very sorry, but the Groupon only covers the available dates shown on the Calendar on the left side of the deal page, which are available through May. Booking in July would not be available with this offer.
