Q:

Hello, we are interested in the March 2nd trip. Is this an all inclusive resort? if not what is the prices for any meal or drink packages? Thank you

Jim B.  asked on  Dec 10, 2012

A:

Hi Jim, thanks for your interest. We do still have availability on the March 2 departure. The resort is not all inclusive, although we have included full breakfast daily. There is an option to purchase a meal plan with 2-course lunch and 2-course dinner at various restaurants, excluding the Ivi Restaurant which requires a surcharge (beverages, room service, the NZ Ice Creamery, and General Store are excluded from the meal plan). The meal plan price is approx USD$85 per person per day, depending on the exchange rate at the time of purchase, including current taxes. This can be purchased at the resort on arrival, if you are interested. Just to give you an idea of a la carte menu prices, the Sundowner dinner menu pricing ranges from around USD$9 for appetizers, around USD$20 for a pizza, approx USD$28 for a seafood entree, and around USD$35-40 for a steak dinner.

Q:

Hi!! Are you going to be offering any dates in April 2013? We are looking to travel after the 8th? Thanks

Dean L.  asked on  Dec 10, 2012

A:

Hi Dean. Please email us at info@otadventures.com or call 800-554-9059 with your specific travel dates (or your range of available dates), so we can check availability/pricing for you. Thanks!

Q:

Hi we have 3 little kids, is that something you can accommodate, it's very hard for us to find a vacation that allows 5 in a room. Please let us know. Thanks in advance.

Katarina S.  asked on  Dec 10, 2012

A:

Hi Katarina. The resort does have accommodation that would suit your family, we would just need to customize a special package for you, since the room category on the Groupon deal wouldn't work.. Please email us at info@otadventures.com or call 800-554-9059 to provide us with more information about your travel dates and the ages of your children, so we can put together a quote for you. Thank you! -Wendy

Q:

Would it be possible to arrange a trip departing on July 30, 2013? Also, is it possible to arrange departures from JFK? and is it possible to purchase an all-inclusive package? Thank you!

Stacy A.  asked on  Dec 10, 2012

A:

Hi Stacy, thanks for your interest. Why don't you email us today at info@otadventures.com to discuss your alternate dates, or call 800-554-9059. Sure, we can arrange an add-on flight from JFK to LAX to connect with the international Fiji flight. The resort does not offer an all-inclusive arrangement. You can upgrade to a full meal plan, but it would not include beverages/alcohol.

Q:

Is the flight direct ? If so how long of a flight is it ? Or is there a lay over ? And if so where and for how long ?

Karmen A.  asked on  Dec 9, 2012

A:

Hi Karmen. Yes, the flight is direct/non-stop out of LAX on Air Pacific (Fiji's national airline). It is approx 10.5 hrs, departing LAX late night and arriving Fiji two calendar days later (crossing the Dateline). The return is direct/non-stop as well, leaving Fiji late night and arriving LAX mid-day the same calendar day (crossing back over the Dateline). It's a pretty easy overnight flight...dinner/sleep/breakfast...then land!

Q:

Hi Roseann, what is the price range for alcoholic drinks in the resort? And are there places around the resort (like within walking distance) to eat? Thanks!

Abby R.  asked on  Dec 9, 2012

A:

Hi Abby. I will check to see if we have a beverage list at the office on Monday, but I would estimate around USD$10 give or take (less for beer, possibly more for exotic cocktails). Please send us an email to info@otadventures.com with your beverage price request, so we can reply. Unfortunately there isn't anything within walking distance, but the resort dining is excellent.

I meant to say: Would it be possible to arrange a 3/19 trip? Also, what kind of sight-seeing is there outside of the outrigger?

Elise W.  asked on  Dec 8, 2012

A:

Hi Elise. We can certainly work with you on alternate dates. Please email us directly at info@otadventures.com with your travel dates and how long you want to stay, so we can check availability. When you email us, we will reply with a resort activity list on Monday. Thank you!

Q:

Hello, Is there good scuba diving in the area? PADI certification available through the resort or any diving agencies nearby? Can I book a scuba trip through the resort? Can you please provide me with a rough idea of how much a lunch or dinner might cost at one of your restaurants? Thank you very much, Andrea Thank you very much!

Andrea M.  asked on  Dec 7, 2012

A:

Hi Andrea, the dive operator at the resort is called Dive Away. Please visit their website for more information about diving: http://diveawayfiji.com/ As for meals, a rough estimate would be $15 for lunch and $35 for dinner. The breakfast is pretty big and might be enough to satisfy you until later in the day. Thanks, Andrea

Q:

I'm interested in the March 2nd trip. I have not obtained my passport yet and was wondering if it's required to have at the time of booking ( December 21 )? Or as long as I have it by the departure date?

Kristina D.  asked on  Dec 7, 2012

A:

Hi Kristina Sure you can buy now, but we have to book your air by Dec 21, if you know exactly how your passport will read (normally same as birth certificate), that will work. Roseann
