Ideas for Your Vacation

From the ancient temples, street food, and shopping of Thailand’s capital city to the volcanic mountains, iconic rice paddies, beaches and coral reefs of Singapore, you’ll see two different sides of southeast Asia on this 11- or 14-day vacation from Pacific Holidays.

  • Pak Khlong Talat: a marketplace where baskets overflow with rare orchids, lotuses, and fragrant marigolds, which are considered lucky charms in Thailand
  • Taste authentic pad thai at a street stall, where the tasty noodle dish is made on the spot in a searing-hot wok with chili powder.
  • Grand Palace: This architectural masterpiece, constructed in 1782, housed Thai kings for nearly 150 years. Topped with golden spires, the complex sprawls across more than 2.3 million square feet.
  • Batubalan village: Watch artisans dye intricate designs onto batik fabric. The vibrantly hued patterns adorn traditional Balinese dresses and skirts, which you can buy at many open-air markets.
  • Explore Ubud: The town’s terraced rice fields look like green carpeted steps set on the hilly terrain. Take in the scenery, or stop by a local warung (eatery) to sample babi guling, roasted suckling pig served atop a bed of rice.
  • Lovina Beach: Dig your toes into the warm black sand of this 7-mile-long beach, which was formed by volcanic sediment.

Price was unbeatable, customer service was quick, friendly and efficient. We got our paperwork very timely and all the other information we needed. The hotels we stayed at were actually very nice! Canggu is much better than Seminyak, the food is amazing and the shops are super cute! Ubud was also really great! Our Balinese connection there, Macca Made, was phenomenal and set up optional tours for us while we were there at great rates. I'd definitely recommend - very easy and very much enjoyed!!
